www.tv2.no/nyheter/9009992/A show called "Foodcontrol" did a test in Norway.....that they cheat with products is hardly breaking news , take Snapple Mango for instance....almost no mango but tons of apple juice in it. Article says 75% of BK chicken consists of chicken . Quotes : -"might as well be fish , no taste in it" -"if you bounce it on the floor it prolly bounces back"

I order them because they are cheap, taste better than their burgers and most McDonalds around here have a free option of getting buffalo and ranch on it instead of mayo. They could call it a McMystery and I'd still eat it.
I'm shocked this study didn't say 15% chicken based pink slime with the remainder being soy, cooking oil and bits of human

Only tangentially related, I always find it funny when people bandy about rumors like weird shit such as McDonalds using cow eyes in milkshakes, as if that makes sense. Maybe it's just the Texan in me talking but, uhh, cows are really f***ing big. They're made out of a lot of meat, but only two eyeballs. The shake would be the most expensive thing on the menu by far if that was what they made them out of. Could explain why the machine is always f***ing broken, though.  |

Really, the only way to get pure 100% chicken is to really slaughter it yourself and eat it raw, and if you do that then you might be a werewolf and I'm not sure I want to talk to you.

That and is it 50% chicken by volume? 50% by weight? It's coated in breading and has plenty of oil in it. If it's a volume measurement you are going to get double digits of just "air" in the product. Math is fun like that. |
