Around the early 2000s for X-mas at my workplace's secret santa I got 8 Street Sharks. Big Slamu is the only one I remember the name of. Another had wheels on his arms and legs and was part car. I wondered how this co-worker found these at least 4 year old toys. Turns out the KB toys in the local mall had found cases of Street Sharks and Mighty Ducks cartoon action figures so sold them cheap to some local children's charity my co-worker's husband worked with. Sadly I lost them in a move about a decade ago. Went and looked them up on Ebay/Amazon and a few other places and looks to be at least 10 bucks a figure to get them loose now. Wasn't Kenner's Aliens and also Predator's toyline from the 90s? Somewhere's on a shelf I got the glow in the dark Predator. IIRC it was a mail away figure. Came in this thread to give props to the Alien/Predator line. I had so many variations of Predator, it was sick! I really did like that line, even though I could never get the figures due to being broke all the time as a teenager. They found a reason to bring back everyone from Aliens who died, Apone, Hudson, Vasquez...plus the Aliens were crazy, as they started to make Aliens based off of animals, so you had these crazy Alien/animal hybrids, like bulls and snakes. It was a nutty line. Also, I'd put my vote in for Toy Biz's WCW line. After those terrible Galoob vibrating figures, getting guys like Goldberg, The Giant, Raven, Hogan, and my favorite, DDP, was a breath of fresh air. That first line wasn't great for poseability, but it had some awesome action features (like the fact that both Goldberg and The Giant came with Rey Mysterio minifigs that you could Jackhammer and Chokeslam, respectively.) Plus, they actually released a Sandman/Hardcore Hak figure that came with rubber barbed wire, a singapore cane, and...a hot dog cart (labeled a "Soda Stand").

I had every SWAT KATS and Stone Protectors figure along with Cowboys from Moo Mesa. GI Joe had some weird figures in that period too.

For the 40th Anniversary, there was a lot of Godzilla toys in the 90s from Trendmasters. There was the smaller 6 inch figures and the larger 10 inch ones which were the cooler ones. Were those the ones that had a button on their chest and when you press it they made a sound Yeah, it was those. I thought they were neat and there were a lot of them. One of the TRU's I'd go to had a Godzilla section all to itself. Exo Squad and Battletech! He-Man(the New Adventures)! I had to wait 20 goddamn years but I finally got a Hook Em Brakk back in 2012! Yep, I remember EXOsquad, cartoon and toys. I had the one above myself. The cartoon was pretty good too.

Joe Street Fighter figures, giant Cobra monsters, Ninjas everywhere, and so on. They were just throwing things on the wall at that point to see what would stick.

The Aliens line was based on a Saturday morning cartoon that never was. alienanthology.wikia.com/wiki/Operation:_Aliens Which was why everything was the way it was and had no resemblance to the movie. The Dark Horse comics packed in to slyly justify their existence was a great saving throw. I rebuilt my collection from scratch and included a few I never had before. I used my Flying Alien Queen as a tree topper two years ago. Shoutout that line, Transformers: Generation 2 Extreme Ghostbusters War Planets Godzilla: King of the Monsters/Godzilla Wars Futuretech Spider-Man: TAS Galoob Micro Machines Z-Bots Micro Machines Action Fleet (Star Wars, Aliens, Predator) Micro Machines military GI Joe: Sgt. Savage The remnants of GI Joe: ARAH (including SFII and Mortal Kombat) Action Man (I just had him in his diver suit and the battery powered raft, but it was enough for me, I loved anything water themed) Beast Wars Hot Wheels Color FX KB's Marvel Universe line (repackaged from various Toy Biz lines) Toy Biz WCW Jakks WWF Old San Francisco Toy Makers WCW and ECW (the latter may have been in 2000) Real Bugs (Squish and Squirmin' variety) The Ultimator (Mattel's Nerf WMD basically, baby's first RPG) Lego Space Police, Aquanauts, Exploriens, M-Tron, Spyrius, and Xtreme Team Shout 'N Shoot Irwin's DBZ toys (I'll count, it's on the cusp but 1999 is fair game, which is why I will also include...) Sega Genesis, Game Gear, and Dreamcast PSOne NeoGeo Pocket Color Yeah, that's a huge chunk of my childhood right there.

Another one was when they tried to relaunch Transformers with the Action Masters line. Transformers...that don't transform. I mean...I get why they did it. And it was kinda cool to get figures at the time that were closer to their comic/cartoon counterparts (they actually even worked it into the comics a bit at the end of the first series, by having Grimlock undergo a transformation that prevented him from being able to transform into his dino mode), but...man, they lost the whole thing that made Transformers so awesome in the first place. Plus the figures didn't have much difference in size, so Bumblebee was the same size as Prime...it was goofy. And making the figures made it necessary for Hasbro to have to build vehicles for the Action Masters line, which was doubly insulting for fans.

I know a lot of Transformers fans hate the Action Masters but they are possibly my favorite G1 Transformers even if they don't transform. I like how they look like they are from the Sunbow show and you don't have to worry about losing their hands, heads, wings, etc. Many of the G1 Transformers had too many removable parts. When I find a lose Action Masters figure I know they are going to be good to go even if they have lost their weapons and such.

I had a ridiculous amount of action figures.
My favorites were:
- Articulated Spider-Man (TAS) - OG Power Rangers and Zed and Goldar and the Zords -JP 1 T-Rex JP 2 T-Rex (Which could actually f***ing eat toys and then you could pull them out of its stomach, f*** I had fun with that) - Star Wars. In fact Shadow of The Empire Toys are what got me into Star Wars. - WWF
And a shitload others, I'm not kidding I had crates and crates, my parents spoiled me...there was one that got away: Godzilla from the American Godzilla flick. It quickly got recalled. I actually saw it at a collectors place recently. It's huge. I wanted to make it fight a T-Rex
