I've been binge watching Iron Fist on Netflix this weekend, and of course the idea popped into my head of what other Marvel characters I'd like to see get a Netflix series. While I realize their movies have been so bad that most people groan at the very mention of the Fantastic Four, I honestly think a Netflix series (assuming Marvel regained control) would be a far better choice to introduce them into the MCU than a movie. With the FF, you have four characters, their supporting cast, villains, and boatloads of other stuff. It's so extremely hard to make a movie around all that and cram it into just 2 to 2 and a half hours. I don't think an Fantastic Four series would need to be as...gritty...as the other Netflix series, but I think all the extra time would be great to build the characters and the stuff they deal with.
I realize that with the Four's flashy powers, as well as those of their villains, every episode would probably be extremely expensive to make, but I think the money would be worth it to get the FF and their wealth of villains, alternate dimensions, crazy science, and such into the MCU.
What do you guys think?

Yes, if a good part of it has a pulp adventure feel. They need to be explorers of the vast unknown.

Maybe they can do it Gotham styled where it takes place before they get their powers? Focus on Reed's science stuff instead of him being all stretchy for example.

I think given that it's an evolving family dynamic, it definitely works better as a series. I also think you could do a better Thing suit for TV now than the Tim Story movies had. Sadly, I just can't see it happening. Between Fox being stubborn and Marvel probably wanting them on the big screen, it'll never happen.

I said that last year after 4stic. Do it as a Star Trek style show where they're exploring venues like the Negative Zone. Easy.

Yeah, it would work great as a scientific discovery show.
Probably better than a movie as they are not really an actiony superhero group usually.
Though Marvel would want things like Doom and Galactus for the Cinematic Universe... so unless they start using the TV characters in the movies I don't see it happening even if Marvel get the rights back.

I'd mark for this, and it has potential with the concurrent character arcs to include Marvel Two-in-One throwbacks. The Thing and Spider-Woman, The Thing and Daredevil, The Thing and Ka-zar, The Thing and Sub-Mariner...

It would cost the budget of every other MCU-TV show combined.
