The first season was one of my favorite shows of the year. The second season had good moments but was overall not as good. And I have not been that pissed about a shows last couple of episodes for a LONG time.

First season had a some good eps, but it fell too far into "characters messed up too much that they're basically unlikable now and I don't care about their story" territory by the end of S1 that I have zero interest in S2.
I'm holding out for Aziz Ansari's second season.

Second season was dissapointing. I also hated {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}That she cheats on Gus two months in a serious relationship and he doesn't find out and we were suppose to find her sympathetic? Like she was pretty damn sympathetic and I like how the show shows equal fault of both characters until that happened. Like Gus was having an Atlanta trip from hell and he was getting ignored because of one boring phone call and phone sex session? There just been a weird trend in movies and shows lately when a guy getting cheated on is the punchline or has to forgive the girl I've noticed

I like how they're both pretty shit people and how they've successfully turned me from a "will they/won't they?" thing to a "please get these people away from each other."

I've seen some of this show so far, and yeah, while I get you have to make characters somewhat flawed to be relatable, the pendulum has just swung way too far in that direction. If I knew either one of these people, I'd be like "what the hell is wrong with you?" Like, holy shit.

Unlikable characters... But that is more based in reality, right?
I like the series in a weird way... Guys in pretty insanely controlling, so kinda weird when they want us to feel sympathy for him. But a lot of the relationships ship issues are relatable, so I kept watching.

I really, really like Paul Rust. His appearances on Comedy Bang! Bang! are usually must listens. I think he's pretty good on this show and I think the show itself is an easy watch, but holy hell it can be frustrating. Is Mickey supposed to be likable? I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for her. Like I said, I might be missing something, because I'm not sure if that's intentional or not.
Also, yes, Bertie/Claudia O'Doherty is the MVP. Speaking of Comedy Bang! Bang!, her appearances on that podcast are flawless and absolutely worth checking out.
