With the biggest weekend of the year's return to the Theme Park Capital of the World just days away, it's time to reflect back on the city's prior wrestling history. There are certainly to be some classic matches and moments added over the next week.
Upon closer inspection, it turns out there was indeed enough time to take a look at WCW. Although a significant chunk of WCW's history took place in Orlando, the truth is that most of it was utter junk, totally interchangeable, or at worst a complete clusterf*** for storyline continuity.
However, there was certainly enough to take place in a WCW ring in the city that Bryan Alvarez despises most. From the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's 1986 Match of the Year, to the historic month of TV sandwiched in between Bash at the Beach 1996 and Hog Wild, including the first ever Hollywood Hogan promo, as well as Rey Mysterio's first ever title victory in WCW, there was plenty to look back on.
Not mentioned yet is the historic Bash at the Beach 1994, in which the dream match finally came to PPV, not just typed for home video releases: "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair against "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan. In addition, it would be the final PPV match of Ricky Steamboat's career before he had to retire (and eventually come back for one last hurrah 15 years later) in a clinic against some guy named Steve Austin.
What is your all-time favorite WCW library match to take place in Orlando?

This thread made me realize Orlando is actually pretty deep with wrestling history.
My vote goes to either the outsiders vs wcw or the Cruiserweight match the next night.

I went with Hogan vs Flair at BATB 1994, one of my favorite matches.
