I can somewhat sympathize with that. Like, year ago I had back surgery. Honestly, my back after the surgery didn't bother me, though part of it was the morphine for a few days. What did bother me was the catheter stuck in my part. Very unsettling feeling. And once in a while there was this burning sensation. The morphine didn't help. Then it was the removal. Very quick, but very burning. Anyways, good on ya on doing in. Like, I'm pretty damn squeamish about needles, so piercings are not my thing, but seems like you are, so good for you for doing it. The first time I had a seizure, I went to the hospital, and they put a catheter in me. The nurse said it would be painless. The nurse was wrong. I can't imagine how that would feel for a guy!! Thankfully, I wasn't conscious when it was inserted. They seem to have done it during or after surgery, and I really only found out a couple of hours after I woke up. The feeling is... odd. Now, removal was painful. Fast, but painful. Some time after I seemed to have a problem with not being able to pee, and the nurses said that if it continues they might have to stick the catheter again. Needless to say, I willed myself to pee on the diaper, because dammit no one's sticking a tube up my part again.

Oh f*** me! That looks painful. Just looking at the pictures is enough for me! Wow.

Power to ya man. I've always been tempted to get my johnson pierced but too chickenshit to do it. Punching a hole through my nipple was bad enough. I have a couple friends who have the same piercing you got and they say chicks say it feels awesome when you're toe curling so you have that to look forward to. If it's something you're considering, look into a Prince Albert first. Pain isn't as bad, healing time isn't as long. If you want to go with an Apa, then you've already got one hole for it. Doing it this way will also cut down on healing time for the Apa. I went through two months of reading up on experiences, after care, stuff that can go wrong, different pieces... All that, before I finally got mine done. The Apadravya is supposed to be one of the most pleasurable for both participants during intimacy. But it'll be some time for me to find out, as I've heard most people say it was too painful to do anything until a couple months into healing. Actually, the benefits of this, besides the aesthetics, is what made me go for this one over an Ampallang. That one happens to go through horizontally. *Googles Apadravya* Oh f*** me! That looks painful. Just looking at the pictures is enough for me! Wow. Yep. That's how it was for me when I first started getting interested in getting one. Then I saw a procedure and was like "Eh, it isn't all that bad looking. I'm sure the pain is worth it". And while I'm on the subject of pain, there isn't any unless it gets bumped, or there's some sort of shock to the area. Doesn't look like there's any blood escaping from the holes, so that's good. Finally not peeing any out, either.

I hope you're healing up well. I don't see myself getting piercing because I've had enough trouble with my ears. Hell, I had enough trouble when I got a weepy rash from a drugstore tennis bracelet.

Thank you. I had issues with my helix because I got bad info from a bad piercer. More often than not though, it's an issue with the piece that was used. Thankfully the place I went to uses high quality stuff and they have years upon years of experience.

I noticesd last night that the barbell had slipped downwards leaving the top ball to rest on the glans. I'm not sure whether this is due to things stretching, or if something went wrong. I messaged my piercer but have yet to get a response. I'll see what I can find on this. That said, I don't think I'll have an issue with this unless the ball enters the urethra.
Or maybe I'm just a bit paranoid, and the swelling started to show.
Edit: So shifting is normal. I guess it should have been obvious due to the extra length of the bar, and the excess length on top. That scare is out of the way.

Mind if I ask why you chose to get that pierced? A few reasons. For a while now, doing something like this was a way to feel like I had control over something in my life. I also happen to appreciate the aesthetics of it. When I made the decision to do this, I looked at it as a way to challenge myself. To see if I could transcend what mental barriers I had placed on myself. This is similar to my reasoning for getting piercings, and I've often thought about a genital piercing but have not yet been willing to go through with it, so kudos to you! I did get a scarification piece done though, which was easy to get done, but some next level pain the following day.

No joke, I felt so uncomfortable reading the OP that pretty much my entire upper body just completely tensed up. My god that sounds awful. I mean, do your thing, but my body just rejected reading about it.

It's something I've considered getting done at some point. I feel like what pain we go through doing stuff like this really does leave us better in the end for it. Gives you a sense that you're a stronger person than you were before. No joke, I felt so uncomfortable reading the OP that pretty much my entire upper body just completely tensed up. I think what I had done was pretty out there, and even a few months ago, I probably would have had the same reaction you did.

How is your healing going? Thanks for asking! I'm relatively pain free. I barely realize it's there unless something bumps into it. I can finally pee without any weird pain or sensation. I've barely bad a problem with bleeding since I've been home. The only concern I had was when the barbell shifted, so now the top ball is resting on the surface of my glans. But that's apparently normal for the size of jewelry I got. Everything is going as smooth as I could imagine.

Gives you a sense that you're a stronger person than you were before. I got the outline of a triforce done, so pretty simple lines. He did one cut over each line with a really fine blade to start with, which I could barely feel. Then he rubbed a numbing gel into it, and just kept cutting the same lines to widen them up a lot. Even with the numbing gel, it was a similar pain to getting a tattoo. Trying to sleep that night though was just uncomfortable, anything touching the area hurt. The first shower the following day was insanely painful though. It calmed down after that, and then I had 3 weeks of filling the lines with vaseline and wrapping with glad wrap, to keep the wound open and encourage it to scar. Here's a few pics. A lot of people ask why I would want to do it, and I always say it's something I wanted to do for the experience, push the limits of my pain threshold, and just take control of myself. It's healed a bit wonky, but I'm so happy I did it.
