TL;DR Match Listings:
Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) v The Bollywood Boyz (Gurv Sihra and Harv Sihra)
Peyton Royce v Aliyah
Oney Lorcan v El Vagabundo
---
That's right, it's Wednesday again and that means ONLY one thing... It's time for a new episode of NXT, featuring matches held at the Amway Arena before Takeover: Orlando went live to air on Saturday night. NXT is on the verge of widespread change as old favourites leave for new domains, and that leaves a whole bunch of new talents looking to make their mark on the yellow brand.
Two of those new talents are the team of Heavy Machinery. Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic captured their first TV win just last week over a pair of hapless local talents and are back this week, hungry for more competition. It comes in the form of cruiserweight brothers The Bollywood Boyz, Gurv and Harv Sihra, who are looking to bounce back after a crushing defeat at the hands of SAnitY in their last TV outing, as well as a minor injury to Gurv. Will the 650 pound team feast on the self-proclaimed "butter chicken beatdown" merchants? Or can the Boyz prove that size isn't everything?
In women's singles competition, Peyton Royce of The Iconic Duo takes on Aliyah. Royce and her partner Billie Kay have been busy crusading against Ember Moon's devastating Eclipse manoeuvre in recent weeks, but the botanic beauty now has the opportunity to hit a few devastating moves of her own en route to victory. But don't count out the plucky Canadian, who could start a run towards a shot at Asuka's NXT Women's Championship with a win tonight.
And in our third bout of the night, the Boston brawler Oney Lorcan takes on a debuting talent, El Vagabundo. Not much is known about this mysterious competitor, but the fact that he's been able to drift his way into an NXT TV match seems to indicate there's potential and ability. Can Lorcan put the L in El Vagabundo tonight?
All that, and a look back at another top-shelf Takeover special as we wrap up WrestleMania week TONIGHT, on NXT!
