Considering Snyder's disdain for Superman, I wouldn't have been surprised if it was the actual suit that Chris had worn, and afterwards, Snyder burnt it and took a dump on the ashes.

Cavil totally looks the part. I'd love to see him play Superman in a non dark movie with a better director.

Cavil totally looks the part. I'd love to see him play Superman in a non dark movie with a better director. There's strong rumor that Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) may be doing the next Superman, so there's hope. To this day he's still the only director to put the X-Men in their blue/yellow costumes. |

I've seen......suspicion, by some, thinking that part of the Jerry Siegel lawsuit being settled was that the costume had to change. I'd say it's more likely it was just Jim Lee and Co. wanting to do a modernization of his look (after all the "underwear outside the tights" thing has been complained about by outsiders for years), but that rumor IMHO sounds just....odd enough to actually be real. |
