So on my connecting flight between Chicago and Las Vegas this evening United announced that the flight was overbooked and were offering $200 travellers' certificates to any five passengers who were willing to give up their seats.
I'm not sure how it was resolved but nobody was forcibly ejected.

Well after the metric f***ton of negative publicity United have gotten over the past few days there is a good chance they begged their stuff to not treat their customers like shit until this all blows over. |

Well its a good thing I didn't choose to fly with them to San Fransisco last year. Though I've been told American Airlines are worse. Good Lord, what does American Airlines do that's WORSE than beating up their paying customers? What, do they frame you for murder? |
