For a second I was really confused. I thought, "Why the hell would they hire him for this?" Then realized I was thinking of Josh Grobin, not Brolin. Brolin should be awesome in the role.

It's a pretty easy gig to cast. Just find someone less annoying than Ryan Reynolds. That's like 99% of the human population.
w the exception of Planet Terror, Brolin's generally the human equivalent corrugated cardboard for me acting-wise, but it actually plays to the strengths of the character especially opposite Reynolds.
