Which means all Halloween candy is 50 percent off (or at least cheaper than it was two days ago). Seriously, am I the only person here who looks forward to the day after Halloween in anticipation of buying candy at low costs?
Who else does this? And what's usually the first candy you go for? I usually target peanut butter cups and kitkats.

Halloween has been dying around these parts for years. Anyone have any insight as to why? Are parents not letting kids do it out of safety concerns? Are kids these days "too cool for it"?

trick or treating = glorified begging.
why knock on doors for sweets when you can wear a hood and nick 'em from the Co-Op?

Yep half off candy is great and since the trick or treaters seemed to have dried up around this part of town there's candy left over. Life is slightly better.

I usually end up getting a few bags for "Trick or Treaters" even though we never get any coming by my place. So I always end up with a nice stash around Halloweeny.

The city of New Orleans was awarded a football team on this day way back in 1966. Since it was All Saints Day, the city named their new franchise after the day, hence the New Orleans Saints.

yeah peanut butter cups are the best! I also like Halloween stores that sell decorations and costumes, they always have sales. You can by a severed head for about 75% off and the limbs are just as cheap. It's always fun to decorate your house like that around Arbor Day. Gives people something to think about.

This is actually an interesting topic. It likely has to do with established neighborhoods having older children, or just a bunch of empty nesters. I have lived in the same area for tweny+ years. As a kid, halloween was booming. Then college hit many of us, so there was an ebb period. Now people my age have their own families, and it's starting to pick back up again.

Also while driving arround last night , because I go out to eat on Halloween, I saw that many towns and Churches had there own things with those Air bounces and Candy and stuff like that.
