It does remind me slightly of when Mountain Dew was sponsoring the WWE and they had the bottles on the desk for like a month... then finally they decided someone had to drink it. So Lawler took a big sip of it and made a face like it was the most god awful thing he'd ever tasted. Of course. The man is a Coca-Cola loyalist. Have you seen his episode of Cribs?

Something that I've always wondered . . . on the New Coke can it just says "Coke". I remember after this was all done and over with the cans said "Coke" on one side and had the old "Coca-Cola" logo on the other side. Did they create the "Coke" logo for New Coke or was it something that existed before it? I don't think they use the "Coke" logo anymore but am not certain. that big slab serif font was specifically designed for New Coke. To differentiate it from the classic script logo.

Steel wool.
Seriously, metallic Pepsi is my answer because the one time I got one wasn't long after I had a spacer put in behind my back teeth. (Kinda like a Brady Bunch episode where Marsha got braces and everything tasted like metal.)

I thought the taste was a cross of a flat Pepsi and rust.
