The Man from La Mancha and Jodorowsky's Dune were unbelievable. I hope that a Confederacy of Dunces lives up to the hype.

I was born in '88 but from watching older flicks and history itself, the 70s, 80s are hard to top.
I have a soft spot specifically for the late 90s, seemed like a lot of thought-provoking films were released around this time.

I'm tempted to say anywhere from the 30s to the 50s with all the classic films and stars those periods had. But my nostalgic heart says the 1980s.
