Every single one of those sounds annoying and awful IMO. Yeah... and he uses the Mick was offended by something Dean said! when Mick admitted that it was dropped because he couldn't pass a physical. The history of the whole thing goes as follows: - Ambrose confronts Foley at Axxess and basically blames Foley for inspiring a lot of indy wrestlers to mutilate their bodies in order to get to WWE because of how successful Foley was at it. - Ambrose begins to make cryptic tweets about Foley ending with #ThanksMick - Foley gets uncomfortable with Ambrose mentioning his family and legit asks him to cut it out and not bring them into the storyline. - Ambrose was on a European tour and didn't see Foley's message and mentioned Foley's family again. Foley goes mental and calls off the whole storyline. - Ambrose and Foley realise the whole thing was a misunderstanding and the feud's back on. - Foley gets told by his doctor that his brain is in no condition to wrestle and the feud's called off. Ambrose disappears from FCW and doesn't even make an appearance in NXT before the Shield debut at Survivor Series 2012.

Most of these angles sucked, but I am surprised Vince didn't think Kaitlyn was attractive.

And not one of them is: "Two talented wrestlers start standing out from the rest of the roster. One wins the heavyweight title and says he'll take on all comers. He has competitive matches, but has yet to take on the other wrestlee. Frustrated, the other guy decides to make it personal." Vince: Damnit, we're trying to attract people to the product, not bore them to death! Anyway, how's the concept for the "Great Balls of Fire" match coming along?

He talks about how the mask is sacred to Mexicans only to immediately suggest a Luchador with 40 years in ring experience to lose it on a random angle on a filler feud. He wouldn't have lost the mask as in never being allowed to wear it again but having Show rip it off in an attack as has been done countless times. His face would have still been hidden. And if they added heat like.that to it, it might have been a bigger feud.

....am I the only one who thought those ideas sounded okay? Or at least had good parts about them?
The last one is probably the idea I'm least keen on.

All of those ideas sound fantastic. Vince is so out touch.

In the world of terrible wrestling storylines, THESE are the worst some of you have ever heard? I must have imagined a lot of the chequered past of this great industry.

I mean, as far as basic ideas go, they aren't horrible. It's just watching those ideas play out in his head that takes them from okay to lame.
That being said, I would have much rather seen AJ be put into an asylum instead of being made Raw GM. No way in hell could that have been worse than what we actually got.

It scares me that this Eck guy thinks these are all great ideas. Here's the question: How would any of that crap draw money at all? Isn't that the entire point of a wrestling feud or storyline? The only half decent idea of any of that is maybe the stuff with Dreamer leading those guys, but even then I dunno how much the typical WWE fan would care about Dreamer.
Am I the only one who thinks all of that AJ Lee stuff in 2012 was utter dreck that seriously hurt a potentially classic Punk/Bryan feud?

The only good idea amongst these is the one where AJ would be taken off TV for a time

Those were pretty bad but I like the Big Show/Del Rio one even if it lacks originality. Especially since it doesn't make any sense for Big Show to torment people over their fathers after the whole Bossman angle. I like that it doesn't make any sense in that there's no set up. "f*** your father...because...reasons"

Look, the Shield was obviously the best way to go, but AJ and Ambrose together would've been fun.
Also, I find the Bellas more attractive than Kaitlyn, but I'm not just gonna act like Kaitlyn is gross compared to them.
Lastly, if we absolutely had to get Stardust, he and Brandi as a new Goldust/Marlena was an interesting concept.
