I always preferred Fridays postal. You know what day you are getting it. Not too familiar with Applebee's.

Sent a package took a month and a half to get there. Now been waiting on something from Chile for a month and a half myself. Interesting timing - a co-worker was telling me yesterday about sending FedEx packages to Mexico and South America and how packages sitting in customs are a regularity. Apparently it's a backhanded way for these countries (and the middlemen shippers who aren't FedEx/UPS/USPS/etc) to make extra money - the longer something sits in customs, the more the sender has to pay for it to be stored there.
