Depends on where it was used. If it was like during a major political event, I could understand it. You never know if that's just a pen or a laser site from a gun.

He used it on automobile drivers , which is dangerous....but even so the fine of a whopping 30k is ridiculous , like they're exploiting tourists.

I wouldn't care if you fined anyone 30,000 for just owning a a laser pointer outside of schools or offices. But when you're doing it to try and distract drivers, you could double it and I still wouldn't care. DBAA.

If that's the case, he was endangering the lives of other people for his own amusement. If he hadn't been caught, he could have caused the deaths of many people. And that's without even getting into the permanent eye damage lasers can cause. He's really not a poor victim being exploited by an unfair police. If anything, he's lucky to get off that easy. You don't f*** around with road safety.

You shouldn't be shining laser pointers at people especially when they're driving. I have zero sympathy for him because this is such an obvious thing that somebody should not be told to do.
