Man, I used to have a good Marvel Legends collection from the original manufacturers, but I ended up losing them during a move. Since then, I've been slowly trying to get some of them back, while picking up a few of the new ones for cheap.
I would try Amazon or Ebay.....I know that's a stock ass answer, but it's where I've seen some of the better deals, both boxed and loose.

Picked her up for $85 cut out of the original box she came in, as is, she's pushing $150 plus on ebay right now. SDCC 2017 Thor stuff is going to be bad, I'm setting aside $200 just to get the 2 figures I want.

That's way out of my league, price-wise. Hell, I'm such a cheap skate, I was debating whether to pay $20 at Wal Mart for a Kitty Pryde figure when that series first came out. I did end up buying it, but, still.....

I collect them. I'm so behind on the last few waves.
I need that Netflix wave of legends to hurry up.

Which is... and From what I've read, these two figures are rumoured to be in one of the possible two Thor lines to come out later this year. If so, chances are that they will have slightly different paint. By San Diego Comic Con, there should be some news about who will or won't be in the Thor series. Which is par for the course from Hasbro, which re-released the exclusive Enchantress, Dormammu, and Brother Voodoo figures all within the same wave.

These are the two I'm interested, mostly use them with my Toybiz Conan the Barbarian and some Mythic Legions I want to get. I don't collect ML usually, but now they have an X-Men line so I want to build my Jim Lee era Blue/Gold team. I only have Rogue and still searching for Cyclops. I'll probably get the Dark Phoenix/Classic Cyclops 2-pack when it comes out though. For news on Marvel Legends and other figure lines, I go to theFwoosh message board. It's like here where whenever there is an announcement or pics from Toy Fair or a Con, it's posted in the designated threads so it's easy to keep track.

All I have is Deadpool. And yes, I found him (four of him actually) at a comic store for retail price.

I had a few of these when they started making them. I got a few of the X-Men; Wolverine, Gambit, Beast (which didn't have the display he was supposed to come with) and Magneto. I also got a set that had the same figures plus a Rogue. I wanted a Cyclops, but they didn't make him until several waves later after I had already gotten rid of my figures. Plus it was the 70's version I don't care for. He looked cooler with his hair showing.
I guess I can appreciate the fact that they've made a lot of the figures from the Marvel universe, but myself couldn't ever devote money and space to buying figures like Sasquatch, Baron Zemo or Blackheart.
They actually look much cheaper in quality now than they did when ToyBiz made them.

I never really got into the Legends figures, save for the GotG Vol 1 figures. My bag has always been the 3 3/4" figures, of which I have...a lot of.

The problem with Marvel Legends (and other 6 inch scale toys) is that they're at the point that they're basically for adults who can actually afford them, not unlike comics, versus the children for whom they used to be meant (back in the Toy Biz 5 points of articulation days before the Legends brand came into being). Legends in Canada cost $30 at minimum, regardless of where you look for them--Walmart, Toys R Us, EB Games, etc. At comic shops, they're nearing $40, and at comic con type events they're priced at $50 for the same toys I can find at Walmart.
The pricing problem really stinks because what Hasbro Legends achieves today, with its relative consistent scale across character types and oddball choices of C and D list characters, is something Toy Biz struggled with. Yet at least with Toy Biz there were dedicated sculpts and paint applications for pretty much every toy, despite some janky articulation and weirdly proportioned bodies. Paying $30 for another figure using the Bucky Cap mold isn't worth it, especially when a line like Marvel Select has toys that are bigger and have more individual sculpt/paint work (for a decrease in articulation, admittedly) for about the same price.
