And honestly, it's hard to believe it's been that long since it happened. Really at the height of the internet reviewer craze, these were pretty much the big names during that period and was really fun to see them all come together for this. Considering how things have happened the last few years and even some names moving on and other stuff only shortly after this video was made, kinda just captures part of the movement in a nutshell. Anyone else remember seeing this when it first came out? Any thoughts on it now? channelawesome.com/epic-brawl/

Spoony and AVGN in one video. That actually blew my mind when this first came out.

I will never understand why people like AVGN. He sounds like a 3rd grader on his second day of drama club.
As for the rest... there was a lot of crap on the net back then.

I'd believe it. I still think this is the best thing TGWTG ever did. At this time, getting this many big internet names together and doing collaborations did not happen. Just the constant moments of OH CRAP IT'S X, Oh shit it's Y! They just keep coming.
Then it all went to hell with Kickassia.

What I liked about it is that it really came off like a bunch of people with similar passions coming together to goof around and create something fun.
The rest of the specials didn't feel like that at all.

I enjoyed Kickassia for the most part, though it did start to drag as it went. Of all their big annual event deals like that, my favorite (kinda) is Suburban Knights. I think the first part of that is amazingly funny, between the recruitment of everyone and their costume reveals. Just so many things there I liked. Once they start the actual journey/plot, I wasn't as fond of it.

And this was the last thing that Handsome Tom did that anyone ever gave a crap about.
(I did not see any of the "movies" so he might be there, so take my statement as a grain of salt)

Now Atop the Fourth Wall: The Movie? That was a masterpiece. To be honest I got like two or three videos in and just completely stopped caring, never finished it.

At the time, it was pretty damn cool just to see people you knew and discovering others I hadn't watched yet.
I mean, say what you will about what came after it (and by all accounts, it's great they don't do them anymore from the stories you hear from others about them), it was a lot of fun.
I think the biggest problem with some of the others is that they were either trying WAY too hard or doing things just to shock people. Neither works if it comes off as hokey.

It's cool, I'm sure the Spoony movie will take the form of a four hour livestream where he doesn't talk that takes place at 1 AM and is watched by a couple dozen people. That or an angry Twitter rant.

The rest I just meant people leaving the site and reviewing in general.

The rest I just meant people leaving the site and reviewing in general. I never heard of Aussie Guy. Video won't play, so who was all involved? I always like Phealous(sp?), Lupa, Mike J, Nash, NC, Nostalgia Chick before I noticed she was so anti-male, and I forget others. Angry Joe... Todd, Blockbuster Buster, um... Brad. That guy with the Star TTrek reviews, HATE the joker ripoff AMANDA HAGAN with a passion, Last Angry Geek reviews of Doctor Who but I am not into his characters.
