Between Secret Wars 84, Secret War, Secret Invasion, Secret Wars 2015/16, and Secret Empire, one would think that "Secret" is Marvel's equivalent to DC and "Crisis".

I find it funny that this was made to sell toys, yet several major characters were left out of the toyline. Hulk, The X-Men (save for Wolverine), Captain Marvel 2, Hawkeye, Wasp, She-Hulk, Thor, Fantastic Four, Klaw, Ultron, Galactus, Lizard, and The Wrecking Crew never had toys (at least, not from that line).

A few things played a part in that: 1. Once the event was over with, interest died down very, very quickly 2. Mattel was making the figures as cheaply as possible and most (but not all) of them were just the same body with different heads. Sitting on toy pegs next to Kenner's exquisitely-detailed Super Powers line, they looked like utter garbage at the time 3. Speaking of that, Super Powers got the longevity thanks in large part to the Saturday morning DC cartoons that incorporated it and extended its life an extra year or two. They certainly had plans to keep the line going had it proved popular, but once things started heading south, they dumped a small wave of new figures (several of which weren't even part of the event like Hobgoblin, Constrictor, Falcon, Iceman and Elektro) and moved on.

So what was the status of Wasp's relationship with Hank Pym at the time that she decides it's A-ok to mack out with Magneto to try to get info out of him? And why did he start hitting on her in the first place? Was that ever hinted at or foreshadowed anywhere before this?

And why did he start hitting on her in the first place? Was that ever hinted at or foreshadowed anywhere before this? Pym had been written out of the Avengers title with the whole trial thing about half a year before Secret Wars started (and he and Wasp were already kaput as a couple at that point), and didn't show back up (in West Coast Avengers) until after it was over with, trying to rehabilitate his life. As far as Magneto's motivations, who knows. He's always had a thing for trying to mack on the female heroes (such as Rogue later on or Scarlet Witch earlier on, before he knew she was his daughter).
