Netflix is reviving Jim Henson’s seminal 1982 film The Dark Crystal via a 10-episode prequel series.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance will take place “many years” before the events of the film. “When three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, they set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world,” reads the official logline.

That's one of the particular scenes I can't stand watching. That and when the Skeksis' crustacean soldiers destroyed those two tall-legged creatures.

My weakness besides the "draining" is when the giant crab people bust into the Gelfling cafeteria and start kidnapping them. Might've been the first time when I was a kid to realize that someone could just steal me.
