I don't understand how Gargano wasn't legit seriously injured by that ladder shot. The whole ending sequence of the match was fxxxxing nuts. I don't understand how both Gargano and Ciampa weren't seriously injured when they both overshot the double big splash spot (Gargano more the Ciampa). Both are incredibly lucky neither got a broken neck from that. yeah they basically both took most of the impact from that on their forearms, which had to suck. I am so stoked for Heavy Machinery vs. Authors of Pain. There is just no substitute for two big man teams, one of which are stone cold killers, and the other are the most likable and energetic fat guys you'll ever meet. Just just let them beat the shit out of each other. I hope that AOP actually sells something with this feud though.

AOP are booked like Brock Lesnar should have started getting booked years ago already. AOP and Asuka both. Completely dominant monsters who are just vulnerable enough that it requires their opponents to try and crack the code of what hurts them the most. Some people in the main thread were complaining about NXT's overpowered heels but this is the stuff I love, I love good babyfaces chasing evil heels, and at least in Asuka/AOP's case I love how it requires the babyfaces to have the "perfect" match to beat them. Tag team wrestling done right is so much fun, two best friends fighting for their lives together. The ladder match might be my favorite match of the year so far, Gargano getting his face smashed for Ciampa is the kind of babyface stuff that I wish we'd get more. Babyfaces who actually care about the well-being of others are so lacking today.

Some people in the main thread were complaining about NXT's overpowered heels I'd probably have more tolerance for it if not how every AOP match has literally the exact same ending of them just ceasing with selling out of nowhere and the fact all three NXT titles are being held by heels whose gimmick is being undefeated.

I don't really mind it. It's an aesthetic fit for their characters, they're the killer in a slasher movie that when you think you crushed him in a trash compacter he comes back and puts an axe in your head. It's fine to me because it's not just arbitrary no-selling for the hell of it, it's a concentrated effort to tell you these guys' threshold for punishment is high and in order to beat them their opponents can't afford to give them that time. I don't mind the repetition because it's gonna mean a lot when someone breaks that trend.
