If she's pronouncing it that way, then spell it "Sein", damn it.

Yeah I assume it never was a thing to begin with, but WWE has soured on Bayley regardless since she won with the Elbow at Mania in my opinion pretty meh fashion and way too early as now she's in her 'So far in the dirt but gonna make a comeback!" story I guess when she's already had her Mania Moment so... I dunno Bayley's booking has been downright dreadful. I still can't believe someone booked that Kendo Stick on a Pole Match and still has a job... maybe...

Hasn't aliyah been on tv a bunch? Surprised she's not in She was barely used in NXT before they hired people like Ruby Riot, Abbey Laith, Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai. I don't think the future prospects look too good for her now that all these newly signed wrestlers are starting to make their debuts.

Hasn't aliyah been on tv a bunch? Surprised she's not in I think they want to avoid trainees for the tournament, and could also be using it as a way to bring people in and get them signed, so the spots going to other people are only going to be going to people who can put on a good show. it's like when the CWC only used three then-signed guys even though they could have brought people like Neville or Kallisto in for it.

Compared to Bianca Blair, I don't know if I would consider Aliyah to be a trainee. She has been around a lot longer.

I will say Binca Blair impresses me more than Aliyah, good power, really unique Ponytail Move, and her spear ain't that bad either.
Even if she don't go past round one it's neat to see more trainees getting their due. I really hope Purrazzo is in this thing though...

After watching that match between her and Bianca BelAir, I was kind of lost as to why the announcer's were playing up Aaliyah's experience compared to BelAir, because BelAir looked like the vet to me with the way she handled herself. She looked like a star. Aaliyah looked like a jobber (not just because she lost). Definitely still seems to be a trainee.

Developing is more than just time; if Blair is further along and more impressive, they're going to be more confident in rolling with her, particularly if they think she's ready for a push and want to use the tournament to give Blair a big showing to help get that ball rolling. Or it's because Blair, with her strength, might bring a power style to the tournament that they want, while Aliyah doesn't have anything they see as really notable to stand out with.

WWE is using both in house trainees and veterans for this tournament unlike the CWC. They have a bunch of women in developmental that they feel are ready but don't have a tv role like Lacey Evans and BelAir. They also have the indy & international standouts to kept folks' attention. I don't see the trainees all losing the 1st round to non-signees because they learned their lesson for not having Sabre and Ibushi under contract and having to call an audible.

REALLY impressed with Bianca. She reminded me of early FCW Naomi (shaky, but obviously has something about her) with a little bit of Jazz and Charlotte thrown in, what with her build, demeanour and moveset. Her entrance was dripping with attitude; I'd seen a few house show videos of her but she obviously shines on TV. Hope they don't over do that hair whip spot. It's absolutely brilliant but shouldn't be busted out every week. The future looks bright for that young lady.
Aliyah looks to be pretty much done.
I think this tournament is interesting because they've hired so many women and many of them are debuting here. That's not like the Cruiserweight Classic which was kind of the other way around. This time they seem to be using it as a platform to introduce many of the talents they already have, and build up the future. I'm very intrigued to see who they'll go with as the winner.

Aliyah is absurdly hot.
On first look, I wasn't sold on Bianca Bel Air... until that hair whip! Holy shit that sounded vicious! Still think the overall look could use... adjusting? But she definitely has something, and I'm excited to see more.

Kairi talks about participating in the MYC. Am I the only one who kept waiting for her to sing the Teen Titans theme? And am I a horrible person for that?
