Just what the title asks. Obviously this isn't the most popular booking decision but there are some who don't mind. He's going to get boo'd but will it be good heat in response to a heel or go-away/X-Pac/Roman heat now that he is (maybe unwanted, maybe not) wwe champ. Or maybe he will still get the silent Jinder pop? What say you?

I'm figuring smark towns will be a mix of cheers and boos like Chicago was, mark ones will just be dead silent.

I don't think heel heat even exists anymore. Some, like Kevin or Alexa, can get it. I doubt Jinder can work a crowd like they can tho. Heel heat is more than just yelling at the audience because they're "supposed" to hate you. |

That depends on the booking. Keep having Jinder cheat to win with the Brothers and you will definitely get heel heat. Unfortunately for him the Manchester Arena bombing will make it very unpopular for anyone to cheer Jinder like the smark crowd in Chicago did... I wonder if Jinder will even come out with a turban tonight since most won't see it as anything other than a prop for an Islamic heel.

It depends on how long WWE keeps up this farce. If he just jobs at MITB in the Orton rematch then he'll get some token heel heat. If they keep it on him past Summerslam and it's some sort of long term deal, then he'll have mass X-Pac heat and SD's viewership will fall well under 2 million.

But yeah it feels like we're at a point there isn't a lot of guys left who can draw in real heat unless they are perceived as guys who aren't deserving like people still call Miz a reality TV star and not a real wrestler. There's always exceptions to the rule but even then still have to resort to cheap heat tactics. |
