I have heard many, MANY people say they want to see a channel that airs classic Nick shows 24/7. How do you think this would do? Would enough people watch it?

I think it'd do well. There was enough Nick-nostalgia to support both Nickelodeon GAS and the Nicktoons channel in the mid-aughts before 90s nostalgia even really took off, so those powers combined on one channel could make for something potent.
Just as long as they have all the right smoothed out (which I assume they do) as MTV Classic wound up being a pretty bait-and-switch disappointment.

Isn't TeeNICK ,at least after 10pm,the all 90s Nick channel? Pretty much. I know when I wake up in the morning, the living room TV is set to it sometimes. Instead of the usual CN offerings of Bob's Burgers or King of the Hill, I'm seeing CatDog or Doug.

I would be all for this if (1) Nickelodeon secured the rights to the majority of their classic shows and (2) you could watch it online.
We actually had something like that a few years ago when someone launched an unofficial channel called Nick Reboot. Like the WWE Network, it consisted of a live stream and on-demand programming. It even had those wonderful 90s commercials! Unfortunately, Viacom played the copyright card and had the channel shut down. Give me a Nick-approved version of that and I would sign up immediately.
The Splat is a nice start, but I'm not going to pay an extra $5/month for Sling's Kids package just to watch classic Nickelodeon. Especially since the old stuff is restricted to late-night.

I wish they would release Salute your shorts on DVD. Still got my dvd-r set from back when I recorded them off NICK GAS. Also would be nice to get the rest of Pete and Pete and Clarissa on dvd. I know cause of rights issues we will more than likely never see dvd or blu ray releases of Ka Blam.

I think the channel would bomb because I don't know how long the nostalgia run would last.

I think it would do very, very well. Retro Nickelodeon is widely revered and holds up. I can go back and watch any of that stuff now and enjoy it just as much as I did when I was a kid. From the game shows, to the sitcoms, to the cartoon, and the game shows, it was just well-written, great television.

I have the complete series of Hey Dude on DVD. If I can get it off Amazon Canada, you kids in the US must be able to.
As far as I know, it never even aired here in Canada.

Jesus, it's not just ahead of it's time, it still might be ahead of it's time today.

idk, if they added a bit more variety on a regular basis, the splat should be sufficient. But on a related note, i just came across the youtube channel old school lane where they disscuss a lot of old nick shows. Videos are long, but very well done, informative and engaging for youtube. Here's one on disney's doug
