When a company changes their name or one of their products names it usually takes a while to get used to the new name. I mean I think it took me a few months to get used to WWE after the change from WWF.
But are their others to this day you still use the old name? Here are some I do:
Where I live in Australia.. Woolworths supermarkets used to be called Safeway. Then about 15 years ago they started to change to Woolworths so it can more of national chain rather then a state one. I think there are still some Safeways around probably cause they have that big tiled S out front and don't want to change it. But I often find myself calling them Safeway.
One I have only recently noticed and it's funny cause I think they made the change years ago is a local bedding change that used to be called Captain Snooze. The chain had a mascot of the same name played by a local comedian who dressed in old timey pyjamas (the one that looks like a maternity dress, slippers and a Night hat). Eventually they dropped the mascot and changed the store name to ... Snooze . But I still and a lot of Melbournenites still call it Capt Snooze.
One more. Have you noticed that they don't call it THE GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS anymore? if like me you did not realise that, if you have a recent copy go and look at the title. .... yep they dropped the 'Book of' and just replaced it with 'World'. I'm guessing it's because they don't list all records anymore.

My dad still refers to KFC as Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Here in Riverside County, many still refer to a chain known as Castaneda's (Mexican fast food) by their old name of Santana's.

an obvious one... not really to me... but to a lot of people it will always be the "WWF" My dad still refers to KFC as Kentucky Fried Chicken. Well they still are Kentucky Fried Chicken, just like IHOP is still International House of Pancakes. there buildings use the Acronyms but the full names are still Registered Trademarks. and they use Kentucky Fried Chicken in some of their commercials. edit: Thought of one... rather random but a small theater has had like 20 different names... I usually refer to it as the Westbury Music Fair... even though I don't think it was named that in like 10 years.

I always say 'Mapquest' instead of 'Google Maps' or even the generic GPS. Mapquest changed my life, you see, and it also killed almanacs and maps being sold in gas stations in general.

The Citrus Bowl
I was never going to refer to the site of the latest Wrestlemania as Camping World Stadium.

Came to say Sears Tower. Glad to see it was the first reply. I don't even know what the current name is anymore, didn't they change it again? I always say 'Mapquest' instead of 'Google Maps' or even the generic GPS. Mapquest changed my life, you see, and it also killed almanacs and maps being sold in gas stations in general. Did Mapquest rebrand as Google Maps? Thought these were two different things.

Whenever football grounds get named after a sponsor I still call it by the old name. Like the City of Manchester Stadium, I never call it the Etihad Arena.

Sears Tower, but probably because the only time I'm likely to mention the name is during the song "Welcome to Chicago" by Kill Hannah.
Another one is the shopping centre near my home town. It opened in 1998 or so as "Freeport", and then renamed itself to "Junction 32" in 2005 to associate it with the actual Junction 32 of the motorway nearby. People still call it Freeport.

Both of these by my Dad
Xfinity/Comcast/Tweeter Center (Concert venue in Massachusetts) is still referred by him as it's original name "Great Woods"
Shawmut Center/FleetCenter/TD Banknorth Garden in Boston was referred to by the name of the old arena, "Boston Garden". Then when they changed the name to simply "TD Garden" he started referring to it as the FleetCenter for unknown reasons
Gillette Stadium where the Patriots play is referred to as "Schaefer Stadium", which was the name of the old Foxboro Stadium in the 1970s

Another one. There is a large train station in Melbourne on the western side of the CBD..
Now you can tell how long someone has lived here on what they call this station. It's original name: Spencer Street Station. Or what it was renamed too about a decade ago: Southern Cross Station.
For a while I refused to call it Southern Cross.. but I got over it. Because when relatives and friends visit from interstate or overseas it does not help them if they need to use the station (it's like Waterloo or Grand Central, it's a major hub for many train lines) I give them a name it no longer goes by.

I still refer to the Penguins' arena as "the Energy Center." Much better than the place sounding like a hardware store.
Likewise, there is no way in hell I will ever use the new name of the Pirates' spring-training facility. McKechnie Field? Great, classic name. LECOM Park? Ewww, no thanks.
The outdoor music venue in Burgettstown, PA is still the Star Lake Amphitheater in my eyes, even though it hasn't had that name in years.
Citrus Bowl for me as well. I loved that WWE never once used the stadium's new name either in advertising WrestleMania or at the show itself.
Ditto for the Blue Jays' stadium. It was the SkyDome when I toured the place in sixth grade and it always will be for me.
