The original movie, and then perhaps the greatest film it inspired....

The movie. But then pretty sure I saw the movie long before the play existed.

The movie. It was the first silent movie I had ever seen. I remember it airing on a local cable station when I was a kid. I thought I'd get bored of having to read the screen but I was with it all the way.

The movie. But then pretty sure I saw the movie long before the play existed. Guess it depends when you saw it, and which one you are talking about since the first musical production was 1976. Though the more famous Andrew Lloyd Webber version was like 10 years later in 1986.

But I am old enough to have seen the Phantom film with Chaney before the 76 version of the play hit.
