Weezie, meanwhile, is having an affair with Mr Bentley and has been slowly poisoning Florence for reasons never explained.

Not a sitcom per se, but on MST3K, the Mads keep mentioning the person who's been funding them from Gizmonics Institute to continue their experiments. This goes on while Joel is there, then when Mike arrives, Dr. Forrestor says it's time to meet their benefactor at last. It's only right that the new guy know who it is after all. And boy is it a SHOCKER.
Joel Robinson has been paying the Mads to send bad movies all these years.

I always felt everything after season 3 of Boy Meets World was secretly written by Russo as nothing made sense or had any continuity. The Vader appearances were Russo's idea. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
