With this being the 25th anniversary of YYH appearing, let's discuss this anime.
Rewatching it lately and getting my love for it back. Remember that it appeared as the very first show on Adult Swim back when they aired uncut Anime on Saturday Nights at 11 that you wouldn't see earlier in the day on Toonami and was caught a bit offguard to hear Yusuke curse as that was the first time I saw an Anime character swear. Gotta love The Dark Tournament Arc which might just be the greatest Arc in Anime History.

I have a confession. I still have never been able to finish it all the way through. It's on my backlist of shit to do but can never dedicate the time to it
I know how it ends but I want to watch it all the way through because it is so good

Genuinely probably my favorite anime of all time. My wife's is DBZ, but this one is in a very close three way tie with Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop for me. Just fantastic stuff from front to back.

I always liked this better than DBZ, even though I love my DBZ also. I never did finish it either though, when it moved to Toonami I was still in school at the timeslot it had, so I couldn't watch it.
Me and a friend were talking about how cool it'd be to get an HD remaster or a new series for the show. I'd even settle for just a re-dub. They haven't done it since the original show, and they changed a bunch of it when the show was moved to Toonami (unless you bought the DVDs).
I'd even just settle for Adult Swim re-rerunning the original show on Toonami, one time through.

One of my true favorites. The Dark Tournament arc was damn fun as is Yusuke barely getting any clean wins/survival due to dumb luck.
