At long last, I am pleased to announce that the WWE Network finally has the Bruno Sammartino Collection available to watch including brand new interviews!!! Relive the classics with The Greatest Ever!

I'll definitely be watching some of this. The guy retired right before I was even born, so I had no way to see much of his work aside from a few matches selected for DVD. I know the original idea was to do a physical release, but I'm just glad this is finally being put out while Bruno is still a literal living legend.

I really want to see the Hansen match, then the Koloff and Zbyszko matches. I have seen the Killer Kowalski match, it's really slow and I don't expect much from Patera and Graham's matches. Although I have heard Patera was actually a good worker in that time period, so I might give that one a chance.

I wish when they did the WM 30 intro with Rock, Austin and Hogan that Bruno came out as well.

For Bruno fans who want more classic Sammartino action, RudoReels has their Best of Bruno Sammartino DVD up for $2.79 (not a typo) It really is Sammartino's best Japan work. rudoreels.com/shop/product/best-of-bruno-sammartino-v01/1.Bruno Sammartino/Hurricane Calypso (aka Cyclone negro) vs Giant Baba/Anton Geesnik 2.Bruno Sammartino vs Giant Baba (Hour Long Match!) 3.Bruno Sammartino/Giant Baba vs Tiger Jeet Singh/Umanosuke Ueda (aka Mr.Ito) 4.Bruno Sammartino vs Bruiser Brody (very rare Japan match) 5.Bruno Sammartino/Giant Baba vs Harley Race/Buck Robley (very rare Japan match)

I could listen to Bruno talk about his life and career for hours at a time. Just a fascinating story and a man with a presence that naturally commands respect.
I've hoped to meet him again, but it's starting to look unlikely.

I've actually heard of the Russian Tea Room. I've always wondered if he actually used to hang out at Jilly's Saloon or if that was just a photo op set up for the Apter mags.

Wasn't that on the Macho Man DVD? The kind of thing I would love to see, but wouldn't pay money for. If it is from Boston Garden, then yes it is on the Macho Madness DVD. And yes, you should pick it up because all of Randy's "greatest hits" from the WWF and WCW are on it.

That Savage match was far better than I expected. Not only could Bruno still go in his 50s, Savage was bumping like a motherf***er for him, and played the cowardly heel role to a tee.
