Only just got told about it by a cousin probably half an hour ago, and he did it very callously and matter-of-factly just to really make it worse. Just out of nowhere, she fell asleep at the wheel while returning an RV she had returned to pick up my grandpa, who turned up in a nursing home in Florida with cancer, dimentia, and a broken hip. Along with it her husband's got a broken jaw and knee. She was pretty much the only decent person in my family and died from overworking herself trying to help her dying dad so... Yeah, this is just a complete and total gutpunch.
Just... Man, bad situation made so much worse. Still not entirely sinking in despite the fact I've done a fair bit of crying already. Really breaking down sobbing as I'm typing this.

Thanks everyone. It's rough but at least for the moment I've stabilized a bit. I can easily see myself breaking down again later but going to try and get by best I can.

I'm sorry to hear that.
My uncle died suddenly about a week ago and then my grandfather fell ill. We lost him this morning. So it's been a rough couple of weeks for us as well.
