Bit lazy to only include four games with two of them being fairly modern and readily avaliable on XBL & PSN. They should include some of the weird side games unless they want to release that as 'the Megaman Collection 3: Give us more money for this dead franchise'

Speaking of Mega Man games that will probably never get a sequel, I'd love to see a 3DS followup to the ZX series. I really liked both ZX and ZX Advent and it felt like the natural evolution of the series to go from merely using boss' special weapons to transforming into them entirely via the different Biometals and Model A's A-TRANS capabilities.

I'd really like an X collection too. I played X and X2 more than any other Mega Man game. I think I may have played 3, but I don't think anything past that. AND HOW ABOUT A GODDAMN SEQUEL TO MEGA MAN LEGENDS. The potential for a modern 3D Mega Man game is just off the charts. If you still got a PS2 or a GC, (or a backwards-compatible Wii), they did make MegaMan X Collection for those systems. It's the first six games in the series, though I'd personally say only X-X4 are worth playing out of those six. X5 was a pretty big step down and X6 was just terrible, though it did have a few good tracks on its OST. They also had a really solid 2.5D remake of the original MMX for PSP called Maverick Hunter X. Not entirely sure if they made it playable on the PSN via PSTV or PS3, but if they did it's worth checking out. There was also an X7 and X8 for the PS2. X8 was a pretty solid game and easily the best game in the series since X4. X7... the less said about it the better. And a turn-based RPG called Command Mission for the PS2 and GC which was a little weird but decent. I wish MML3 didn't get canned because cacpcom. I love the x games. 5 I think was still good as the first 4. 6 was rushed as all hell, didn't have English voice acting in the cutscenes and it was impossible to finish if playing as unarmoured x, but had a few good levels. Never played the ps2 x games |
