Cards have been announced for the Kizuna Road series of shows, the come down from Dominion meeting the hype up for G1 Special in USA.
I don't have the full cards on hand (been stuck on mobile for a long time now), but major bouts announced include:
-LIJ defends the NEVER six man belts against the Taguchi Japan combo of Taguchi, KUSHIDA, and Juice Robinson -Minoru Suzuki defends the NEVER strap against YOSHI-HASHI. -KUSHIDA defending the Jr. Heavy title against BUSHI. -Some CHAOS vs. Suzuki-Gun tag matches that include the return of Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Very importantly, the June 20 show will include the announcement of the participants for this year's G1 tournament, June 26 will establish the A and B blocks, and June 27 will carry the announcement of when and where each G1 match will happen.
So, let our very brief slowdown before the big LA debut begin!

If Sekimoto ever competed in the G1 I would lose my ndmi lol They consider him too short for NJPW even though he is about the same size as Ishii. Dude competes in every puro company except for New Japan.

It is more of New Japan is super picky on who they work with. When it comes to Japanese wrestlers, you don't get to wrestle for them unless they got a working agreement with them. Like Omega & Ibushi were the only 2 DDT folks they used. They mostly stick in house for new blood. Understandable, but limiting because some quality talent get passed over.

While the G1 always delivers, I hope they can get some good people to step in. Not having Nakajima, Marufuji, Shibata and Honma will hurt this year. Especially if the replacements are guys like Tanga Roa. I could see Cody and definitely Juice (who could be a show stealer).

Hiroshi Tanahashi and Hirai Kawato vs Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi This one immediately jumps of the page. The biggest match of Kawato's career so far.

They're putting a lot of faith in Kawato He deserves it, out of a fantastic class of young lions he seems to be the best of the bunch. He does everything with so much energy that I pay attention every time hes in the ring. Hes going to be really good in a year or two

I was able to get tickets to the G1 show in Osaka, which should be a lock for a good card--really excited to see who ends up being on the show.

Once he gets done as a Young Lion and comes back from his excursion, he'll be 24, the same age Okada was when he came back and shocked everyone.

Looking at him, you wouldn't expect Tomoyuki Oka to be a big anime fan, nor would you expect that Milky Holmes, a schoolgirl detective series is his favorite.
