Current Ms Marvel (I refuse to call her Captain Marvel) is Marvel's Roman Reigns.
Try as they might to push her as a main eventer, The fans just aren't having any of it.
A shame really since Ms Marvel pre 2012 was a great character that people actually liked

Haven't watched it but if they are using Carol's full Binary powers I don't see how she can lose... she could completely control and manipulate stellar energy, including heat, electromagnetic spectrum and gravity and could travel at the speed of light, I mean for that reason they had to depower her at one point due to the fact that she basically thwomped anything she came into contact with. Current Ms Marvel (I refuse to call her Captain Marvel) is Marvel's Roman Reigns. Try as they might to push her as a main eventer, The fans just aren't having any of it. A shame really since Ms Marvel pre 2012 was a great character that people actually liked We've had a comic shop owner shoot down this falsehood on this board. The original Captain Marvel run by Kelly Sue DeConnick sold great. edit: Not saying you gotta like her or what Marvel have done with her recently. I mean personally I think Civil War 2 made her come off absolutely terrible. But don't just try to push things that just aren't true. |

But don't just try to push things that just aren't true. isn't Captain Marvel one of Marvel's most dependable books, sales-wise? as for the name, it was time. people had been calling Carol "Captain Marvel" and "Ms. Marvel" interchangeably for years and it was asinine for her to be stuck with a sidekick name for a character who never meant half as much as she did and whose only real legacy is that he actually stayed dead. having Carol go back to Ms. Marvel at this point would be like Dick Grayson going back to being Robin. |

... As pleasantly surprised as I am that 18 won I don't remember she being able to absorb energy. 19 and 20 were built with that ability and them using a video game move as an example is kinda dumb. Though it kinda balanced out how easily Marvel was able to go Binary. Sigh so dumb
