Currently, I help shoot and produce my church's services for local television every Sunday. Occasionally, I'll get gigs shooting any funerals or weddings that take place at the church. I will also say that, until I started my work with them, I had no idea that recording funerals was a thing, but apparently it's just as common as it is for weddings. I guess you learn something new every day.

Hospital Security Supervisor.

I manage an 11 man security team for the biggest hospital in my province. We're divided between a super busy emergency room, a three man roaming and response team and a 3 man team on the mental health unit. Plus my dispatcher and someone else on the veterans hospital also on our campus. It is AWESOME. The most rewarding job I've ever worked. I keep people safe. I get to see people who need help get the help they need and improve as a result. The pay sucks. We're grossly underpaid because healthcare is grossly underfunded but I still love it and I won't be going anywhere.

Oh, and nurses. That's a benefit too. Whew boy.

I am an employee at a movie theatre as a cashier, usher, and concession. Pretty much a jack of all trades within the establishment. Been there for ten years. I recently applied to become Assistant Manager but was deemed too unprofessional with employees and customers.

Will definitely try again when the position becomes available since I know the new assistant manager they hired won't last long at all.

I still work night shifts in the same hotel, but unlike two years ago where I got to spend 90% of my shift screwing around on my laptop I now have a ton of cleaning duties and soon will have to add checking in and distributing the linen deliveries, which wasn't what I signed up for. Consequently I have accepted an offer to become the website and marketing manager of a startup vaping supplies company when they move into their new offices in September.

Used to teach, but a new principal came along that favored young, attractive women when it came to new hires. He's basically ran the school into the ground because of his "practices". So now I'm currently unemployed and trying to decide if I still want to teach or go into something else. Thing is, with being 30-years-old, I feel like the time to venture into a new career has passed.
