It's rapidly becoming one of my favorite cartoons currently airing. Not just because it's pretty hilarious and heartwarming, but holy crap is this show doing great things for the LGBT community so far. From Clyde having two dads to what they just recently revealed this week, outing Luna.

A show that I really should focus more on. Started the first few episodes and then, because of other stuff, stopped, but loved the dynamic and humor in this show. Definitely a show worth watching.

Considering that Nickelodean is virtually SpongeBob & PAW Patrol, and the Majority of the other shows they make either barely get out of the Nicktoons channel because they suck (The Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig, Pig Goat Banana Cricket) or are only promoted due to legacy (Butch Hartman's Bunsen is a Beast, which is easily the most formulaic show in years, and that godawful CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks show where they are half human). I didn't include Harvey Beaks because C.H. Greenblatt got blackballed for complaining about the network's over reliance on the yellow sponge.
This show is definitely a breath of fresh air Because it's different. In a climate where animated programs, namely for kids, like to aim lowbrow, they do a healthy mix of highbrow humor with the crude jokes.
And it's a blast.

I think Steven Universe kicked down a lot of doors. Not that Loud House isn't doing the same, that's really cool, but SU seemed to mark a real turning point for LGBT themes in kids' media. Bu yeah, this show is awesome. I actually wrote a review about it for the main site nearly a year ago. www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2016/07/the-loud-house-a-review/

This is the first time I've seen a bisexual character not depicted as a sexual deviant.

I need to watch more of it. I generally like it quite a bit but I've really seen nothing but some early season one stuff.

If I had cable, I think I would be into this show. Many people and reviewers I trust love this show.

I can't really recall any other times in cartoons where it's been this blatant, but offhand in Adventure Time and Korra they pretty much edge as close to onscreen bisexuality as they could manage to get away with.

I was gonna make a "Luna Loud is a Lesbian" thread as a joke (and literally copy/paste the OP on the "Patti Mayonaise..." thread, swapping out names and references for Loud House stuff), but with this thread here that seems like a bad idea. I'd eventually circle back to "Yeah, it's pretty cool!" and "let's talk about the show". All in good fun, I promise.
I'm not the biggest fan of the show, but by Nickelodeon's low bar, it clears it easily. My niece LOVES the show (I'm kinda afraid how her parents will react when they find out about the Luna Loud thing...they're not too "supportive" of that kind of stuff, lemme leave it at that), and it's not overly obnoxious so I can leave it on and just do my own thing. I've kinda smiled at a few moments from the show (I thought the scene with Luna was really cute). It's not a show I go out of my way to DVR like Steven Universe, but hey, it's not horrible, it's promoting good messages, I'm all for it.

Wasn't Doug's sister Judy a bisexual is the Disney version? If it was, they sure hid it, given how socially conservative Disney was at the time.
