Mentioned it on Twitter to Retro: I get why they did it but its still complete and other BS that some stars who voice secondary characters get top billing over those who actually voice the protagonists.  |

I do hope characters like Lyra, Apple Fritter, Bon Bon, Carrot Top, Octavia and Apple Fritter all *Burp* get some sort of appearance in the movie.

Yeah, if they replaced the original VAs, no buys from me. Not gonna see this movie in the theatre.

I do hope characters like Lyra, Apple Fritter, Bon Bon, Carrot Top, Octavia and Apple Fritter all *Burp* get some sort of appearance in the movie. I know she isn't one of your favorites, but IMO the movie would be the best time for Vinyl Scratch/DJ P0n-3 to have her first canon line. |

I dunno...would not one from the general public seeing that poster and those names automatically assume that the celebrities voice the protagonists if they get top billing?

Two quick things I noticed in that trailer near the beginning: 1)Starlight with Trixie during the magic show (and no where else from what I can tell) 2)When Harry is hugging the Mane 6 I see Tree Hugger in the background. The animation style will take getting used to, but I can tell why they went for that for the movie rather than keep the same style as the show. ...what I REALLY want to see for some reason though and hopefully we will are Celestia and Luna's manes in this style. |

Okay, looks good so far. I expected them to use a different animation style, so I wasn't too surprised at that. With all those charactrunning around, I'm wondering just how much screen time they'll all get, since I'm pretty sure this isn't going past 90 mins.
Still, I'm definitely looking forward to this. Maybe I'll even look for an IMAX showing if one's being offered out here.
