Still think that's a bunch of baloney and poppycock.
Totally disrespectful to the actual VAs who busted their bits to bring us this joyful series for many many years now.
At least starting the clip rewatch for Mirror Magic will lift my spirits.

That's just the nature of the business though. More views = more revenue. I'm sure the VAs understand that too.
Besides, the people who know who the VAs are will most likely watch the movie anyway.

Plus, I don't think it was the first time a Hasbro animated movie did this.
And this was back when they still had Casey Kasem on the cast (before that whole naming a country in show Carbombya).

Still find it BS because the ones who actually voice the protagonists should get top billing instead of some one-time-onlies.
Isn't a magic mirror supposed to show you more beautiful instead of uglier?

I find it kinda humorous that the first special guest star they mention in the opening credits is Eric Idle. I would've figured they'd start with Nimoy, or Welles, or even Judd Nelson. But nope, they went with one of the Pythons. |
