I don't know what the legalities look like, but even if they legally wouldn't be able to explicitly set those movies in the MCU, what reason would they have to not imply that, or at least make sure to not flat out contradict it?

He literally needs Spidey in order to be established. Do we really need to do ANOTHER origin story? Just adapt the Flash Thompson black ops version of the character and you're solid. If the script is well done there is no need for Spiderman. You can't have Venom without Peter Parker the same way you can't have Vicious without Spike. They're mandatory for the story and character. Venom's whole being is because of Spider Man. Without him, he's just a random alien. |

As we talked bout in other thread, you can have a symbiote movie sans Spidey. By definition you can't have a Venom one.
Even Flash Thompson has his origins with Pete.
If ya want to make movie with guy and alien suit, that is doable.
Hell, XO Manowar is that.

Straight into the action I've been wanting to see Carnage on screen but can't help but feel this is all rushed and it feels hampered without Spiderman. They are building a universe without him but in that scheme we are leaving hints of Spiderman so we can bring him in, in like 5 years |
