A film streaming service with access to the Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Universal, MGM, Columbia and Paramount libraries with multiple versions of the films available and the commentary tracks from the laser disc/dvd and 0 original content. I would love this.

So that died. Here's the thing. I like a lot of the Netflix streamin shows. But sometimes I just want a good old movie. It's clear that all off the services, Netflix,Amazon,Hulu etc are at increasing rates moving away from streaming ofher content and towards streaming original content. To me that leaves a market for a service that only streams movies.

I can see Netflix going to a tiered pricing plan, where at the lowest tier you only get the movies, second-tier get the movies and originals, top tier you get the movies, tv shows, and extras like access to films before the lower tiers get them.

What would be nice is if the studios themselves jumped on the bandwagon and started streaming the movies in their back catalogue... I don't know how much it would be to set up but they'd probably make a little coin from movies that are just gathering dust in storage. Maybe some of the more popular movies would get a physical release if demand is high enough.

Know what streaming service I want? One for old cartoon shorts. No movies or half-hour shows, just the 7-10 minute shorts. Looney Tunes, Disney, Tom & Jerry, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, etc. Include Hanna-Barbara ones from their shows that used the format. Other similar types. Would be awesome.

Warner Bros. recently re-launched their Boomerang TV channel as a streaming service.

I'd like a cheapish one dedicated to the old TV shows that nobody else seems to care about anymore. (TV Networks/streaming services I mean.)

I'd personally love a streaming service dedicated to game shows, especially if you get Nickelodeon Guts and Double Dare on there.

I agree and would like most if not all of these. I am getting annoyed, as much as I like the Netflix originals, how they are clearly being set up as the reason to have the service.
