I know it's only a matter of time before he loses it right back to Owens, but I love it when there are title changes at house shows. Makes them somewhat less predictable.

Man this MGS show sounded like a HELL of a show. I wish they recorded it.
* Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Dolph Ziggler in a lengthy match. This was the first SmackDown special attraction match of the night, very hot crowd to start and Nakamura was super over
* R-Truth defeated Goldust with the heel kick. Good match and the crowd stayed hot for it, current Goldust gimmick is great
* Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeated Samoa Joe and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz. Good heel promo by Miz before the match. Maryse was later ejected after trying to interfere
* WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville retained over Cedric Alexander with his feet on the ropes
* AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens to become the new WWE United States Champion. The crowd went nuts over the title change. Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm for the pin after Owens kicked out of a Styles Clash
* Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, Emma and Nia Jax when Emma tapped to Sasha
* Finn Balor defeated Karl Anderson in under 2 minutes. Luke Gallows was at ringside
* RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro retained over The Hardys
* Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt. The crowd was back and forth with reactions to Reigns all during the match. After, Braun Strowman came out to one of the biggest pops of the night. Reigns met Braun with punches but Braun took him out. Cedric Alexander ran out but got dropped, as did R-Truth. Wyatt then attacked Rollins but Roman saved Rollins from the double team and they cleared the ring. Reigns and Rollins stood tall as fans chanted for Dean Ambrose and The Shield

... whoa. Really? Will she be an on-air personality or is it just an interview for the channel?

If this is standing: 1)A House Show Title Change?! Last time that happened on the main roster? 2)At MSG? Last time that happened? 3)To win at MSG must be a damn trill. From what I can find, the last title change in MSG was Punk starting his second WWE title reign at Survivor Series 2011. The ones before that might be Wrestlemania 20.

Has there ever been an instance where a pair trades title wins on the house show loop? Like KO just wins it back tomorrow in _________? The Steiners and Money Inc. traded the tag titles during a run of house shows in the Midwest. I remember the article in WWF Magazine. I think--of all freaking people--Johnny B Badd did it in WCW back and forth with Lex Luger during the 90s when things were relatively widely televised for that company. It was with the TV Title, not even happening on TV. Of course early 90s and pre-90s, it wasn't as uncommon. And my example isn't the best. But I think it was a thing. Just randomly comes to mind and I just figured I'd throw it out there.

Purely speculation, but I wonder if him not on the card played a part in his departure.

So I'm guessing that Kevin's hand was a Punk's elbow situation where he had about as much as he could take.

AJ Styles is slumming it as US champion while Jinder Mahal is WWE champion. That's not right.

I love it, especially because it's such a huge thing for AJ, to win a belt at the Garden? You know they're treating him like a top guy, cause well, he's one of the best wrestlers in the world and it's deserved Amazing that the US Title has so much more relevance than the actual World Title right now... and almost any other belt for that matter on the main roster The guy who should be World Champion is Smackdown's Midcard champion. STATE OF YOUR BRAND, MATE! Nah, he's good where he's at. AJ gives the US title an instant amount of credibility. He lifted up the WWE title and he can lift this one up as well fighting against Owens, Zayn, and Nak
