We may no longer have two Winnipeg KOs as the US champs, but now we have two Bullet Club leaders as the Champs of America.

This footage is so great for so many reasons. 1) That split-second after the count to three before the crowd explodes. 2) The footage has the audience somewhat blurry, but just in focus enough to capture how many jaws dropped. 3) As someone who goes out of his way to watch MSG house show footage, the crowd's in such a frenzy even prior to the finish, and AJ winning is just like some wildest dream lottery winning release of exuberance once he gets the title. 4) The announcer declaring AJ the new title holder, you can just hear the subtle timbre in his voice that he's geeked about a surprise like this too. This is just such an example of what makes wrestling great in one little perfect clip. Thanks for sharing. This whole Styles/Owens story just came full circle. Wrestling at its finest for sure.

AJ Styles is slumming it as US champion while Jinder Mahal is WWE champion. That's not right. That is the crux of the whole thing for me. Jinder Mahal, who is subpar in every aspect of wrestling, except for his questionable to say the least physique, is the holder of the top belt on Smackdown and will main event Battleground against a dude that hasn't been a needle mover since 2011. And with AJ Styles as champion, you can use him to build up other guys, and to get more out of the product and performers than you would with a dude that has been given an Anti-American gimmick due to it being the only way he can get heat, thanks to how mediocre (and thats being kind) he is between the ropes.
