In what areas do you show common courtesy to others?

Hold doors for others, generally keep quiet. I try to keep clean if I eat out and I'll clean up after myself and others so, at a fast food place, the workers don't have to do it.

All of the above post, I'll pick up some trash occasionally, but frankly, I don't know where some stuff has been exactly and not always near a bathroom to wash my hands
I will put a stray shopping cart back if it's near where I parked

Keep the workplace (relatively) clean and prepare for the next shift. Wave/blink acknowledgement when I'm favoured in traffic. Help out if I see others struggling with something. I'll ask first, as that's also common courtesy.

Holding the door open for people, letting people waiting before me get on the train first, pull my weight at work, tidying up after myself, picking things up for people if they unknowingly drop something, looking after items people have lent to me...just things that all right minded people should do to help their fellow man.

I usually will in most ways, but if somebody's overly aggressive/demanding about it (ie : starts getting snarky about not holding a door open when they were 15+ yards away), I'll shut them down.

In what areas do you show common courtesy to others? Let's see. If say I am grocery shopping and get a phone call, instead of standing in the middle of the aisle blocking everyone I will find a place I can stand and not block anyone. I refuse to be on my phone while getting checked out at any store. See it happening all the time in town. THe line gets held up cause some jackass can't pause their conversation for a minute so they can pay for their groceries. Usually I will hold the door open for whoever is behind me or whatever. I always offer to help older people load heavy items into their vehicles.

I'm polite enough to not brag about the nice things I do for others on the internet.

I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt when they ask what seems to be a silly question or act seemingly oblivious about something generally considered common knowledge. Maybe they had a long day, maybe they haven't slept well, maybe they are for the most part a bright thoughtful person who just happens to have this odd gap in knowledge, etc. I don't see why so many people are so quick to judge someone as an idiot just for one quick faux pas.
Of course, that all flies out the window if that person is being an unapologetic jerk.

I really don't judge other people. I generally do me and let other people do them. Which is becoming more and more rare these days as people are quick to judge, react, grandstand or otherwise make mountains out of mole hills.
I also hold doors open, always call men older than me Sir, and tend to be professional and grateful to every-day workers.
