I know it won't happen, but I'd say about 30 of the 36 girls I saw would improve at least the NXT, if not main roster, women's divison right now. Really hope quite a few not yet signed get contracts soon. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an influx in women signed after this, and that a handful more get picked up down the line. 13 of the 32 entrants in this tournament were already signed by WWE before it started (Laith, Belair, Kai, Sane, Evans, Gonzalez, Ripley, Beckett, Logan, Conti, Borne, Li and Zeda), but most of them are Performance Center rookies. On the plus side, most of those rookies have proven to be quite capable wrestlers in their own right over the course of this tournament, with only Gonzalez and Borne reported to have not had an impressive outing.

Oh yeah there's already a lot of WWE signees in here too, some of whom are wildely known to be good already and some who are surprising people with their first showings. But there's also a lot of talent they've brought from outside who would be great to see in there too. Talent that would be great to finally see have the chance to come in if they wanted it.

I was a bit dubious about putting Baszler in the finals but if they push her as a cocky arrogant bad ass heel from MMA against the cutesy babyface Sane then this could be big, especially with some mainstream buzz as well too it. Then hopefully sign Baszler as well but have Sane go over and then bring her in as Asuka's challenger.
There is alot of talent here they need to sign and pad out NXT with.

Also, a question for those who want Sane to be the one to dethrone Asuka, you realize the final is live in September right? This means you destroy the Ember Moon story as well as keep Asuka down likely until 2018 in NXT because you don't do that match until a Takeover, likely the one before Survivor Series.

I don't really think anyone wants Ember Moon to beat her though, I like Ember Moon but I think the story failed. Just my opinion of course.

I don't really think anyone wants Ember Moon to beat her though, I like Ember Moon but I think the story failed. Just my opinion of course. Nah, dude. I want Ember to beat Asuka for the title and have wanted it even before Takeover: Orlando left the door open for a rematch. A lot of y'all don't for reasons that at face value don't make sense to me, but part of the reason why I stopped talking about it was because I even predicted the nit-picking and the backlash before even Takeover: Orlando. To be right about something like that is slightly disheartening. ..and I just want to wait until the match happens. Because at least if and when she wins, that'll be a nice center of awesome sandwiched between two questionable fan reactions. Because the nitpicking will go on again while people clamor for someone, anyone to beat Ember Moon because of reasons. All while she doesn't do anything but have good matches with damn near everyone (which she'd get barely to no credit for) and is at worst inoffensive when it comes to promos. It's a whole bunch of stuff I'm not looking forward to witnessing, to be honest.... However, the bright spot is that even with putting just a couple of these women on the NXT roster Ember could drop it to pretty much anyone, move up, then we'd still have a ton of really good options. Though from where I'm sitting it looks like they may have her drop it to Sane. ....there's not much I've got to say about the tourney just yet, other than I really wished Mercedes Martinez got a bit farther along just because she's someone else I've been seeing for ages even before she had that match against Victoria way back in the day on Sunday Night Heat. I mean...shit...we have to wait a month for this? A MONTH?! Bruh, I don't know if I'm going to make it. It's like I'm getting hype for this all over again like this is the CWC.

I'm right there with you man. For them to just throw away something they've been developing for almost a year for a new shiny thing is cutting off your nose to spite your face. I do hope Sane v Asuka happens one day and I have little doubt that it will, but it can wait because it's a money match. It's like the women's version of AJ/Nakamura, we want it but make us wait.

I still think the best way to take the title off Asuka is for her to get Honky Tonked. Put her in the ring with someone not even close to her league, have her not take the match seriously at all, then lose by a fluke roll up. I was originally thinking they could do this with Liv Morgan, but I think that ship has sailed. Maybe Amber Rose?

Ember's not going to deserve the amount of backlash that it seems like will be coming her way if she's the one to beat Asuka. I get the stated reasons that people say (and no, I don't believe there are certain ulterior motives there, at least not among the majority of fans...), and even I'd like to see her get some more build (Though I'd be satisfied with her getting a Roderick Strong-esque 2-part "Who is Ember Moon?" video package), but I'm fine with her being the one to dethrone Asuka. How it all turns out in the end will be all about the follow-up. If they plan on signing people out of this tournament (who aren't already signed), there will be plenty of challengers to keep Ember busy and the division rolling along past an Asuka call-up.

The problem with doing this with Liv Morgan now is that instead of the fans appreciating the plucky, underdog babyface slipping one past the cocky champion, she'd just get Roman Reigns heat from the NXT crowd. At least with someone like Amber Rose you could set her up as a chicken-poop heel from this and they could actually take advantage of the crowd reaction.

After reading about this...... I am 100% certain, as someone that has no interest in 205 Live..... I would much more be likely to watch a one hour all-women's show on the network. I think that's the way to go.... not a strictly Cruiserweight show. Just my opinion.

I hope they resign Serena. It was criminal what they did to her last time.

I really wished Mercedes Martinez got a bit farther along just because she's someone else I've been seeing for ages even before she had that match against Victoria way back in the day on Sunday Night Heat. Going all the way to the fourth round is pretty far for one of the wrestlers who isn't under a WWE deal in this thing.

If Mercedes had heeled through Mia and Candice instead, she'd have been in the finals just as soon. The Ronda thing might have just been the tipping point.

No, they fired her for a dumb reason. Not being Straightedge in public? C'mon, that's like firing Kane for not setting people on fire. Besides I'm pretty sure there's no rules against drinking, it's just drugs they don't like.
