Savage using a sponge mop as a weapon while feuding with a little person, with announcers loudly proclaiming Savage is leaving the building to commit suicide...I am at a loss for words.

I echo every sentiment on here and it is a great find.
However, I do wish to ask what you Googled in order to find that....!?

What's with Memphis area wrestling and sheer insanity?

I am a huge Randy Savage fan. Especially his early years. I would have loved to have followed ICW every week as a fan. I've seen everything that's been on YouTube. I ran into Lanny Poffo last month and I asked him who owned all the ICW footage. He told me he believes it's public domain now. I find that really hard to believe but I have no idea who else I could ask about it.

Didn't Google anything - I had started following the guy that posted that recently because he uploads whole shows of old 80s non-WWE-owned territories and perusing his archives, there this was. He has a bunch of ICW segments, some of them just as bizarre as this one.

Cool video, I try to watch as much ICW as I can on YouTube. ICW made me the wrestling fan I am today. Growing up in WV, ICW was my very first exposure to wrestling. I instantly became hooked after finding it on TV one day. They also would do monthly shows at the Armory in my city. I was in awe seeing my first show live and I would practically beg and cry for my dad to take me to the show when they were in town. Garvin and Savage were the two guys I liked the most. I remember seeing Savage standing outside the curtain leading to the dressing room but being too scared to approach him, my brother asked for his autograph and Savage took off his sunglasses, bugged his eyes out and said NO MAN I DON'T SIGN AUTOGRAPHS!
I also remember a ref screwing Garvin out of a main event victory so he proceeded to beat the crap out of him using the ring bell, I could hear the ding ding ding repeatedly in the halls as my dad was taking me back to the car. 😄 That's my boring story, thanks for posting this though!

Cupid slightly resembles Tyrion Lannister in recent series of Thrones. That was his first acting gig . I've heard a lot about ICW in the Memphis area, I'm glad there's footage of the shows.

Between the Mop and that dull blue jumpsuit, was Savage's gimmick supposed to be that he was a Janitor?

...so I can't be the only person that thought this meant the Scottish ICW and got really damn confused for a moment, right?

Somewhere in my collection I got a 4 hour Best of Randy Savage in ICW dvd. Most shows I goto I make a copy of some DVD from my collection for all the people working the show. That Savage in ICW dvd is the one I have had the most people wanting copies of.
Next time I see Bill Dundee I am gonna ask him about Savage.
