I mean, they were 2-3 WITH him, they have a ton of problems even when he's there.
But I can't imagine it getting better for them without him either.

Now the season may be teetering. That said, teams have been a decent job of containing him thus far.
The secondary and run stopping is the real concern.
As weak as the division is, they're still alive so far

Well Cowboys are F'ed in the A for a good while without Zeek
It will be interesting to see how Dak gets through this adjustment as i'm sure more pressure will be on him

Are the Giants worse than the Browns? No, but now's a fun time to remind people that I picked the Giants to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LII. Whoops.

But there is concern in Oakland as the wildfires in the Bay Area could lead to the Raiders game this Sunday being moved.

Damn. The Eagles f***ed around and became the best team in the NFC (aside from Atlanta, maybe) rn. Let's see if they can keep it up. I ain't about to lie, Carson Wentz been ballin'. Last year sucked man, he had no one to throw to except Ertz and maybe Matthews Now he has Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Ertz, Trey Burton's emerged as a great option as well, even some lower depth chart guys like the rookie Mack Hollins are contributing, this is everything that the Eagles didn't have the years prior, a Wide Receiver Chart with actual depth, that works, and spreads the field, and Wentz SHREDS them. Also The Run Game was terrible last season, Ryan Mathews sucked, before that Demarco Murray regressed to shit and was exposed, and I'm still not very high on Smallwood. But this combination of Blount and Kenyon Barner? This I think is a great one two punch with Sproles and Smallwood out, it even shows how much depth we have at Running Back cause we still have Corey Clement too. Blount is just special as hell, we better be fixing to hold onto that boy. The Defense has also come alive. We could not for the life of us terrorize offenses last year. Our line actually looks better without Connor Barwin, which shocks the hell out of me, but Chris Long is stepping up huge, and Cox is earning his paycheck, as is Nigel Bradham who has been an absolute maniac in the backfield, him and Hicks and even Kendricks are a nice core back there. Our Corners are also not letting people pick on them, as one of the more depleted secondaries going into like week 2 of the season, they have found a way to step up as the whole defense has. First possession of this game could have gone real bad giving the Panthers good field position, and they held strong, set the tempo, really happy with it. But special shoutout, to Nelson Agholor. This dude was TERRIBLE in his first two years, and he looks like a completely different kid. His speed is some of the best I've seen in the league, he rarely misses catching a pass and he was complete butter hands last year. He is the epitome of taking your criticism and instead of further regressing into never being a worthwhile Receiver, he's one of the current top receivers in the league. And this is an Eagles Team without Darby and Lane Johnson tonight, with like 120 some penalty yards compared to like one penalty of one yard on Carolina, and they came through. This was the gut check game I needed to see to see if the Eagles were legit, and I feel like they really are. And man it feels good, and I hope the homies stay healthy so this train keeps going.

The NFL's Injury ridden season continues with Thursday setting the stage. Panthers Running Back Fozzy Whittaker was carted off the field with a leg injury and did not return, early reports suggest a high ankle sprain, while Panthers star Luke Kuechly also suffered a concussion. Both are debilitating losses for Carolina if they miss extended periods, in what is fixing to be an extremely competitive NFC South.
The Eagles got lucky with this high chance injury season, as both LB Nigel Bradham and WR Mack Hollins seemed to suffer some nasty injuries in the game, Bradham making a huge 3rd down tackle ramming his shoulder hard into the defender, and Hollins seemingly tweaking his knee on a Special Teams Punt, but Bradham returned and no report on an injury from Hollins after the game.

Best part is the fact that Jerry Jones and his cronies tried to stall his suspension to help their team, only to go 2-3 with him.
F****** serves them right.

As I mentioned a few posts earlier, wildfires in the Bay Area could force the Raiders game to be moved on Sunday, anywhere but San Diego please.

49ers cut NaVorro Bowman... injuries have made him a shell of his former self, but this one still stings. Cutting a long-time heart and soul of the team in the middle of a crappy meaningless season? Ouch.

As a Niners fan, thank you NaVorro Bowman. Good luck wherever you wind up, which will probably be in New England.

Profootballtalk reports Ezekiel Elliott isn't yet suspended. It's because Dallas is still looking for ways to appeal it. They have a whole week to try and block this yet again.

I hope they end up delaying it to save a 7-9 season
Then lose him in 2018 and go 7-9 again

The 2017 Injury Bug is really prominent this year
The NFC just got cracked wide open as far as first place is concerned now.
