Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone. So...what's Brett Favre up to these days?

Green Bay still has a good team and a puncher's chance in the NFC of making some noise come January, but they won't be able to get anything done with Brett Hundley under center. Instead of rummaging through free agency for retreads like T.J. Yates or Robert Griffin III or Shaun Hill, they should call up the Giants and try to dangle a draft pick for Eli Manning. The Giants are going nowhere, Manning has no one to throw to, but Green Bay has plenty of receivers who could make 2017 Eli look like 2007 Eli.

Everyone takes a step back.

2 - 2 in Fantasy.......one I couldn't win even if I started New England D over Atlanta D, another really makes me think I should have started Adam Vinatieri over Brandon McManus

As a Green Bay fan, I don't want Kaepernick and it has nothing to do with protests.
He's a lousy quarterback.
I've felt that way when the 49ers went to the Superbowl and I still feel that way.
He had success when he was surrounded by great talent on both sides of the ball and defenses hadn't figured him out yet.
Walking into Green Bay right now, he wouldn't be surrounded with that level of talent. Injuries alone would see to that.
More than that, defenses have adapted. And he's just not that good. I've got him on about the same level as RGIII at this point.
We wouldn't be getting a dynamic playmaker that befuddles defenses. We'd be getting the guy who got benched against Chicago in favor of Blaine Gabbert.
Don't get me started on the Tony Romo talk, either.

All I know is, Macadoo will never touch the offensive playbook again, even if that win was a fluke
And I don't think it was from the standpoint of Denver being this powerhouse team. They have great players, that's not a debate. I knew when Denver lost to Buffalo however, that team wasn't right. They had been getting by on really good defensive play, not their offense. When they are a team that has to play from behind, they falter hard. Gives me hope for when the Eagles play them in a few weeks. We'll have to check the status of their Wide Receivers too, as they suffered the same sort of fate the Giants did last week.
The Giants have to play Seattle next week, so we'll see how much of a success this new offensive scheme is there as well, but Denver got exposed at home, and that's really been the story of this season aside from the ever present injury bug, the constant upsets or really close to upset games. A lot of teams are still really close and still very much in a race. A lot of time to go but... this has been one of the more bizarre seasons. Some of it feels like teams not being ready for the season, some of it feels like Teams really playing with confidence with the teams they have, and some of it is unfortunate injury, but it's insanity, and in some ways, it is entertaining, since you wonder who is gonna pull away from it all... if some of these teams can.
Next week will be interesting to watch, a lot of big test games for a lot of teams with very close records. I know my attention to RAW is gonna be heavily deviated with the Eagles on Monday... let this insanity continue I suppose!

The Packers now are just like the Colts back in the Manning Days: a One Man Team. They sold their soul to build everything around the guy, but hey, it got a Superbowl (in both instances)so it actually worked. But this is the other side of the "one man team" coin. You rarely get through life riding a single horse the entire time.
That's not to say there isn't a ton of talent on the Packers. It's just that all the talent is based on and molded around the arm of Rodgers. Even the defense is built around the guy... somehow. It's hard to explain, but it is.

It's because the man leads and instills confidence on both sides of the ball. The Defense plays for Aaron because either they're gonna stop it or Aaron will bail them out like 80% of the time. When Aaron went down, you could tell both offensively and defensively, they checked out of this game. I don't now if they're gonna recover either. And they're about to play a Saints Team that just racked up 52 Points. Only upside is we're gonna see what Hundley really has, if he can't throw on New Orleans Defense he's f***ed.

While I am generally sympathetic towards Kaep and I think he is getting blackballed by the NFL, he really needs to display some evidence that there's outright collusion going on.
I personally think his blackballing from the league is not an organized campaign of collusion by the NFL owners, but rather disorganized cowardice along with the belief that any baggage of his overshadows his talent. I think that's an inaccurate belief, as I do think he's a hell of a lot better than a lot of the bottom tier starters and backups playing for injured starters. But I also doubt he'd have problems finding a job if he really was a franchise-type QB versus borderline stater/backup territory.
But if he does have proof that some NFL owners are actively colluding against his getting back into the league, that opens up a huge can of worms.

Unfortunately, I do subscribe to the more baggage than his talent and a lot of his problem is self-inflicted like why he wasn't signed with the Ravens. Also he isn't as cheap as many backups in the league are as he seems to think he is worth more money than others.

Thing about that last point is no one's even approached him so how can they say he's too expensive? Also, the vast majority of QBs are paid more than their worth so paying Kap around $5 million is a good short term bargain. Ultimately, I think we have a league full of cowards that, for their own reasons, will trot out terrible quarterbacks (Hello, Tom Coughlin!) instead of making a sensible move. Their loss and they can keep their hollow calls for "unity."

That, and he was the one who opted out of a deal that still had time left on it to begin with. He gambled that presenting himself this way would raise his value. It didn't.

At this rate, Elliot is either gonna be suspended next year, or he's gonna be suspended this year when the season gets later and the games really start to mater...
