Sit him out for the whole season If i'm Luck no f***ing way am I getting my shoulder ripped off again because of a suck ass OL and hardly any weapons to throw too Go for that high draft pick and build through the draft I've heard/read some chatter tha Indy knew Luck wasn't playing most/all of this season and I'm inclined to believe it. If I'm Luck, I f***ing hate the Indy front office. They've had a few years now to build a good team around him and have completely screwed up every time. Terrible drafting on defense, no ability to get him anything close to a good OL, good, but not great weapons around him offensively. He's gonna be 29 when the next season kicks off and has lost a good chunk of the last 2 years to injuries. He was supposed to be 'The Guy' when Manning/Brady were gone and it's looking more and more like he's never going to get there He has every right to be pissed too He made that shit work when he got drafted and led them to the playoffs twice without them spending much of anything and they still haven't done much for him since

Indy has been gifted the two greatest QB prospects of the last two decades and properly developed them both into playmakers who are the best in the league when on the field.
They have also wasted these prospects with either fine teams that couldn't overpower the Patriots in the playoffs (with one exception) or terrible teams with obvious problems the front office ignores like two week left overs.
As a Maryland native I consider it karma for Irsay being such an asshole in the build up to the Colts leaving but hey, I'm biased.
At least with the Browns they can't develop QBs worth anything, so at least it isn't as frustrating to watch.

Considering that the QB crop was Jeff George back in the early days, seeing the Colts office effectively pissing on Luck feels so wrong.
But that's what happens when you had Ryan Grigson.

I have this strange hope that Indy flushes 2 seasons total down the crapper by tanking for Luck twice, just to see him leave and sign with a well run organization that would never consider something as lame as tanking. Last time the Colts let a QB get killed like this, he left for Denver, went to two SB and won one. History had an interesting way of doing things.

Expected, they're gonna hope and pray that not only they get better but they can trudge themselves to playoff contention.

Josh Norman (Rib) will not play Monday vs The Eagles, Bashund Breeland is also questionable, it's a consensus even if he plays he won't be at 100%. On the other end, Darby is listed as questionable.
It was Normans Job to cover Jeffery, if him and Breeland are both out or if Breeland's hurting, with how hot Wentz is right now? This is gonna be an interesting game...

Just like the season before drafting Luck, they are not trying to tank; they just can't win for losing. Like that other season, injuries to an already lackluster team is playing havoc with them. Coaching is also a factor as Pagano for once has teams ready for games (they led at halftime in all but the season opener) but is getting severely out coached in the second half, though a lack of defensive depth is also playing a role. My expectations? The Colts have their first losing season under Pagano as Luck sits the rest of the season. Pagano finally gets fired. The Colts do grab one high priced FA (probably a lineman as pass rusher never reach UFA status), the Cplts draft a pass rusher in the first round and OLs afterwards. It's not all doom however. John Simon is a find and run defense is improved.. The rookie DBs all look promising and Mack is an explosive runner (even if he needs work on his pass blocking). Brissett will probably be decent trade bait in the future. Getting more depth would help protect leads in the future, but Grigson left too many holes to fill in just one offseason.one more offseason will make a real difference in that regard.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer suffered a Broken Arm in the London Shutout vs The Rams, he will miss 8 Weeks, which could equate to the rest of the season and even retirement.

The Chicago Bears won today, despite the fact Mitch Trubisky was only 4/7, and yes he started the whole game. A team has not won a game with so little completions/attempts in over a decade.

The best part about that is that, given how bad the rest of the league is, I'm only half joking there.

Considering how bad they've been the past few years, even a first round playoff appearance would have me celebrating as if it were a Super Bowl win.

The Bears have basically turned into their Tecmo Bowl team. Amazing defense but the quarterback can't throw so the offense stalls out a lot.

I think it is fair enough to call this season a lost one for the Colts now. Might as well play young players and trade veterans with trade value that aren't going to be in future plans.
Who might be decent trade bait? I can see someone wanting Al Woods, who is playing pretty well all things considered. I also see trade value in Darius Butler as either a FS or slot CB. I also would not object to trading Montcrief, who is not playing like this is a contract year for him, especially now that Rodgers is healthy.

Colts are gonna have to gimmick to get people to put up with going to the stadium, like free food, because that's the only way to tolerate a godawful football team. But, I'd cut Tolzien just because.
