It makes me throw up a little because I think he's a terrible commissioner. But I have to side with Goodell in his feud with Jerry Jones. See the thing is i'm one of those people who don't get to up in arms about the decision making from Goodell because the Union let him get that power. Demaurice Smith is a f***ing horrible negotiator and should be called out more for allowing Roger to get this type of power in the first place

I think he's awful for other reasons, too, but the amount of autonomy he has on disciplinary measures and how tilted the CBA is towards the owners and NFL management is on DeMaurice Smith and the NFLPA not willing to play hardball during CBA negotiations.

I like Hue Jackson. As a coordinator I think he should be commended for the success the Bengals had. But as a head coach he should be banned from the league. He's 1-24 in Cleveland. I think he's now the worst coach of all time. Some dudes just can't be coaches Rex Ryan is a damn fine defensive coordinator but he's a shit Head Coach because he doesn't adjust well on the offensive side Hue just doesn't seem to have the "coach voice." He isn't really commanding and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired See Norv Turner, Dick Lebeau and Wade Phillips

I agree. Goddell has not been great with said power but once again NFLPA gave him that power. Smith has regretted that since Day One because even when some of Goddell decisions were "fair" he made a big deal about it. I'm surprised the players have not outright turned against Smith after this current CBA. Sadly, he will still be there for the next CBA and I expect the same bullshit in different circumstances

So, Jacoby Brissett passed concussion protocol during the game, and then had severe issues in the locker room afterwards.
Two things;
1. Scott Tolzien will start next game (they have a bye), which means he will pass for 49 yards & 4 picks. 2. Chris Nowinski tweeted about the failure here, and that Jacoby was dragged out after that big hit, which hurts both the Colts & the NFL.

The NFL concussion protocol always came off as a joke, but this makes it look downright fraudulent

Playoff seedings as of now:
NFC: 1. Eagles 2. Vikings 3. Saints 4. Rams 5. Seahawks 6. Panthers
AFC: 1. Steelers 2. Patriots 3. Chiefs 4. Titans 5. Jaguars 6. Bills
It'd be great to get some new blood in the playoffs this season. Jags have the type of football team that's built for the playoffs.

Jags are a decent quarterback away from being a truly great team. They have all the pieces in line, but Blake Bortles is horrendous.
Like my boy Stugotz says, he cost them the game, even though they won the game.

It'd be great to get some new blood in the playoffs this season. Jags have the type of football team that's built for the playoffs. They might have had the type of football team to win the Super Bowl in 1997, but in 2017 with the league so pass-heavy and so focused on quarterback play, they're doomed to an early exit in January. Look at the last 20 Super Bowl champions. Only five you could argue weren't built around the quarterback position - the 2015 Broncos, 2013 Seahawks, 2005 Steelers, 2002 Buccaneers, and 2000 Ravens. Of those five, at least three had all-time defenses to compensate for lesser or lackluster play from the man under center. The Jaguars defense this year is good, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's very good or anywhere near historically good. They're a fun team but they're not the 2000 Ravens to Blake Bortles' Trent Dilfer.

With Coughlin back there, there's a chance they go after Eli next year, who would be an upgrade from Bortles no matter the jokes made and knows Coughlin's methods Cousins would also be a possibility, I dont think they wanna roll the dice with the draft...

The Saint who was taken off the field in an ambulance, RB Daniel Lasco.........is out for the season with a bulging disk.
Good news for him is that this bulging disk will not be career ending.

Cowboys LB Sean Lee will miss at least two weeks with his Ankle Injury. OT Tyron Smith is uncertain to play this Sunday as well.
That Defense is screwed...

As a Saints fan and a quality human being I hate you for that typo...but I’m glad his bulging dick won’t end his career. (In all seriousness I’m glad he’ll be ok in the long run.)

He was above average that year but so was Russell Wilson in 2013.
