Pretty bold of a company to admit their old product was shit. Any more examples of this?

Another one is Heinz Ketchup when it used to primarily come in glass bottles and take forever to come out.
Even Heinz made fun of how slow it was.

Budget airline Ryanair is known for its customer unfriendliness and hidden catches i.e. very low luggage weight allowance, but they recently advertised themselves as the 'UK's least complained about airline' in a sort of 'I know, right? Who'd have thought it?'.
I've travelled with them once and it was fine, but it was good to see them making fun of their brand.

Really I think most pizza chains, at least in the Northeast, are comparatively bad. Papa Gino's is alright, but for real good pizza you have to go to the standalone places. |

Papa Gino's is alright, but for real good pizza you have to go to the standalone places. My main beef with Pizza Hut is how insanely expensive it is. The pizza is, eh, it's not bad, it's not very good. |

That was Dominos. And they're still doing it with their remodeled store commercials. They literally say, "We love our pizza, but not where we make it." I refuse to eat Domino's anyways, but their marketing strategy is strange. |
