Anyone realize that if The Grays had sniped Bill or Micah instead of Sean at the Ambush, a whole lot would've gone differently in both games Dutch was well on his way to f***ing this group over without Micah influence. For all intents and purposes, the gang's days are numbered before the game even starts and every flicker of hope is a false one, compounded by Dutch continually making terrible decisions both by himself and with Micah's influence. From the moment the Blackwater Massacre takes place the clock is ticking, and the story makes it clear that the only way out for them is to either turn Dutch in or abandon him.

They basically tell you and ask you question yourself if Dutch was ever this noble person to begin with or was it the rose tinted glasses everyone saw him due to his charisma. Did Dutch love the group? Yes. Did Dutch also use them for his own means? Also yes. Dutch wanted that way of life forever. The "last score" was only going to be the last until he ran out of money in Mexico, Tahiti or wherever he found himself at.

I do wish the story had been a little less linear. It would've been interesting to have different branches based on how certain events went down. Perhaps Hosea survives the bank heist and is able to delay Dutch's descent into complete self-destruction a while longer, only to ultimately get more of the gang killed because they don't abandon camp until it's too late. Or maybe when the Pinkertons confront the gang at their camp a shootout takes place, leading to the law tailing them more intensely.

I think a decent nod would been if the TB diagnosis was based upon the mission if you hit the old man. But yeah, the game was too damn big for a definitive bridging path outside of our choices effecting parts of the game and the ending. We needed the major stuff like Lenny and Hosea dying to effect the overall story tho I do think you could have replaced Hosea and Ms Grimshaw and having him get killed at that point by that dirty f**** Micah would had hopefully made Dutch open his eyes

{Spoiler} {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The ending, and the sickness leading up to Arthurs death ruined any replay value for me, and I really hate that. I feel I played through the game too quickly and have a lot left to explore.

So I decided to try out Red Dead Online and I failed the first mission because my horse decided to randomly die before I could even reach it.

A little surprised we never did get a Seth cameo even at endgame or a mention of him like they did Bonnie

It makes most of what you do inevitable. It defeats the purpose of eating for health. Strengthening your character.

Strengthening your character. It is cosmetic. You don't really see any effects until practically the last few missions and by then the game steers you to finish shit off The only thing that changes with Arthur is looks. Eating is useless anyway because you never gain or lose weight that effects anything you do For as much realism as RDR2 has, eating equating to strength and weight loss is not one of them.

If they do RDR3 I still want it to be another prequel to go "full Cowboy" See how much of the stuff Landon Ricketts did was BS or not. A young Nigel West Dickens selling his BS potions

A young Nigel West Dickens selling his BS potions Well they really can't go forward in time - the American frontier was officially over by the time Jack put a bullet in Ross' head. Going further back is the only way to continue, and there's a lot of untapped potential in the mid-to-late 1850s. Hell, you could probably make a pretty solid story featuring just Ricketts and the gunslingers from the Jim "Boy" Calloway mission, with little to no link to the Van der Linde Gang (though I think if we ever do see a RDR3, a young Hosea or Dutch will feature in some way).

My best gang shoootout is with the Raiders when a Civil War vet is telling others about a battle in 62. Right when he starts to say he killed 20 Yankees single handily with his fists I sniped him with The Springfield and then unloaded the Double Barrel Shotgun onto the rest before they could react
